Hi!I am new to modding. I have been trying to export animation from RE3 and keep having this problem.
I am using 3ds max to import the character mesh with Re-Engine mesh and then using Revil Motion Import to load the animation.
The animation plays fine but Jill's head is not attached the rest of the body. I have also tried importing the character meshes with noesis
and get the same result. Is there a way to fix this issue? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. imgur.com/K0zPieD

Hello, Seeing the screenshots, I'm definitely newer than you are.
First, let me explain that I may not answer correctly, and if I am wrong, please correct me if someone knows.
As far as the previous experience of trying to import and export motion, I remember correctly that the animation of the face and the body are separate.
Maybe this phenomenon is because only the imported part is reflected.
If it's not what I thought, please wait for someone else's answer. Due to knowledge limitations and translation software, I can't explain further.

Thanks for reply. You might me right since there's separate animation for hands and head facial animation. I will give it a try and if it doesn't work ill keep researching.

I tried using facial animation and it did not fix the issue. I think the head is missing bones or something.

I tried using facial animation and it did not fix the issue. I think the head is missing bones or something. Not sure what effect you plan to present, have you ever tried to use only the body model skeleton to import the body animation and edit it, then export it, and enter the actual game test? If the originally separate things are to be integrated into one, there are some uncertainties when editing. When I do not understand the actual situation, I will confirm the actual operation effect of the existing framework. If you have other plans in the future, you can test in other ways. When I only edit body animations I only import body models and body skeletons. Body is body, face is face. I tried unsuccessfully to edit facial animations and skipped it because there were other things I wanted to try. But other people's mods are successful examples with many edited expressions. As far as the files are concerned, they are also exported to their respective files, and it seems that they are not combined into a single animation. I will edit the body animation first to make sure I have the effect I want in the game It can indirectly confirm whether the facial animation is necessary to be unified with the coordinates and angles of the body bones. I have the impression that it is not needed. Because I was only editing body animations with bodies at the time. The head and hair did not suffer the horrific result of distorted displacement. Supplement: I can't understand the actual translation effect of the translation software. Sorry if the tone is offended. If you need answers, please wait for others to answer. thanks.

Thank you, These words are really a good rope to get rid of the annoying translation software and continue to be my due reader role. Oh, please don't get me wrong. Nothing, what you said is true. I just happen to find it useless and time consuming to adjust and adjust for some of my personal crap every time. Thanks, I was in need of this correction.

So the funny part is that, I tried doing the exact same steps for Carlos and when I add all the meshes together( Head, Hair & Body) and then load the animation everything works fine. All the meshes stay together. I can even export the animation and save it as an fbx file. So my question is why i can't do the same with Jill character from RE3 Remake? Check out the pictures. imgur.com/ThYSAGFimgur.com/oa8UXVBimgur.com/upQs2yNimgur.com/ltpKYUb
