I hope this is the right place to post this but I have been looking into how to make a mod to disable the atrocious mouse acceleration that is forced on by the game. I have some basic reverse engineering skills and I've spent some time digging around with ghidra and RE framework but I figured I'd ask in here to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious that people had already figured out. I know there have been some mods made in the past that affect camera movement such as the first person mod and the VR mod so I was thinking that maybe someone might have some insight as to how mouse input gets translated into camera movement and could give me some pointers or at least tell me what classes or methods to look at. I'll continue digging around myself and I'll post anything I find in the replies. Thanks in advance!

Update: I basically found what I was looking for. It seems the relevant class is PlayerCameraController. Its base class TwirlerCameraControllerRoot has most of the relevant properties. I'll post more detailed info soon.

Hey, I know this post is old, but I'm coming here from Google. Desperately looking for a way to disable Mouse Deceleration in RE 2 Remake, and it looks like you were on the precipice of finding a solution... So, I hope you're still alive!

Very interested in this too, i have made a few mods but if someone has already started working on something i would be happy to help or share research on this issue as the negative mouse accel is preventing me from playing/enjoying the game.
