Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Texture editing tutorial
Tutorial for both the RT and DX11 version
Things you'll need:
Have the re_chunk_000.pak unpacked. Tutorial on that here.
Programs and plugins:
Photoshop to edit the texture
guide on how to install Noesis and the MESH Plugin:
Step 1: Download and extract Noesis.
Step 2: Download and extract the Noesis MESH Plugin.
Step 3: Move the fmt_RE_MESH.py to noesisv4466>plugins>python
guide on how to modify textures for the DX11 version (using the 1911 as an example):
Step 1: Find the texture you want by dragging it into Noesis (The texture is always the albm.tex file)
remember to always get the textures you want from the streaming folder, since they are the high res texture.
Step 2: Make a copy of the texture you want to mod
Step 3: Export the texture to .TGA
Step 4: Edit the texture as you please
Step 5: After saving the alterations done to the texture, export it as .8 - Resident Evil 7 Texture [PC] on the Main output type

Step 1: Same thing as the dx11 version
Step 2: Same thing as the dx11 version
Step 3: Same thing as the dx11 version
Step 4: Same thing as the dx11 version
Step 5: export it as .35 - RE7 RayTracing Texture [PC] on the Main output type
Making the mod work in game:
Step 1: go to Fluffy Manager's mod folder and create a folder. You can name it anything you want.
Step 2: Inside your folder make a text file and name it modinfo.ini
Step 3: The file will need the following informations you can name them whatever you want.
Step 3.1: Add a cool screenshot to the folder
Step 4: Make the path for the mod. This will change a little if you're using the RT update
DX11 version: natives/x64/streaming/weapon/wp1010_handgun
RT version: natives/stm/streaming/weapon/wp1010_handgun
Step 5: Place the texture you edited inside the wp1010_handgun folder
Step 6: Open your Fluffy Manager, Install the mod and profit
