Hello, everyone! So I did come across a mod called “RE2R modernized classic OST” by nsnake. It made me curious. Basically, some tracks from the Classic OST are replaced by some tracks from the Remake. A couple of them are actually looped and play during the time, when they usually wouldn't play anymore. This does mean, that you can place any track in any location, but it requires a lot of work.
I do like tracks from the remake, but it has a lot of problems: 1) Some tracks only play once, like Save Room and R.P.D. Hall. 2) Some tracks, that should be looped, aren't, like Save Room. 3) The entire soundtrack has a lowered volume. 4) Some tracks have inappropriate switch points. Absurd Advent switches from first half to second once G-Birkin reveals his eye, and it doesn't fit.
I was hoping someone could do an entire modernized soundtrack replacing the classic while also correcting the above-mentioned issues. Or at least instruct me on which tools I need and how to work with it. I have an Excel file, where I've been trying to figure out, which Classic track replaces a respective Remake track; in this file I try to pick, which tracks I would use in a Reimagined Soundtrack, including ones from outsiders, like ProXY One Creations.
If anyone is interested, please let me know!
