This attempt only works on non-RT versions.
This topic is not right on WIP, but please forgive me. I'm just using this crude attempt as an example.
The idea for this thing came from: There are so many awesome costume mods, but only one Jill in Game.
Replace Male Zombies list:
face00 RE7 Mia
shirt10 RE8 Tundra clothes upper body
shirt12 RE7 Young Eveline clothes upper body
shirt01 RE8 Donna Beneviento clothes upper body (Physics are not processed so the skirt doesn't move at all.)
shirt02 RE8 Mother Miranda clothes upper body (same as above)
shirt03 RE8 Rose clothes upper body
pants00 RE8 Rose clothes lower body (Inner thigh bone weights are not handled properly.)
pants01 RE8 Mia clothes lower body
pants02 RE8 Donna Beneviento clothes lower body
Roughly replace the original male zombie with the voices of three daughters but have not been match the type properly.
Replace Female Zombies list:
em0100
face00 RE2 Claire
face01 RE2 Annette
face02 RE2 Katherine
face03 RE3 Jill
face04 RE2 Ada
pants00 RE2 Elza Walker lower body
pants01 RE2 Katherine lower body
pants02 RE2 Annette lower body
pants04 RE2 Jill lower body
shirt00 RE2 Elza Walker clothes upper body
shirt01 RE2 Katherine clothes upper body
shirt02 RE2 Claire clothes upper body
shirt03 RE2 Annette clothes upper body
shirt04 RE3 Jill clothes upper body
shirt05 RE2 Ada clothes upper body
Replace Male Zombies v0.01g link
v0.01h-1 link (need v0.01g)
Update daughters' clothes, this is as far as I can currently handle.
The cloak is less faulty, but still covers the line of sight.
I originally wanted to use the in-game destruction mechanism to make it disappear (interrupting the right hand), but I couldn't achieve my expectations. I will watch more teaching videos when I have a chance.
Replace Female Zombies v0.01g link
v0.01g content
Add rough hair physics,
Solve the weight problem on the left side of the nose.
Added female zombie replacement,
The file is already too big so I separate it.
(Each piece of clothing still has the problem that the inner body of the male zombie is exposed to the outside of the clothing. )
Now only Brad's was not replaced.
And he really didn't need to change.
The exposed part of the zombie's inner body needs to be changed to the base body shape or hidden. But if I want to use someone else's body mod as the base, I need to get the permission of other people's mod to use this part, and hiding it is not my preference. So this issue should be put on hold .
In addition, some of the leg bone weights were not fully repaired.
Skirt weights and physics haven't been tried yet.
The cloak is ugly and obstructs the view etc.
But as said before. The phased task of this thing has been completed.
Unless I can't stand it myself, it shouldn't be updated again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a bait for people who are waiting for the mod and have some ideas but are not confident in their own skills.
I have absolutely no clue about 3d software.
Even more than half of the English narration of the teaching video is not understood.
I still don't know how to build the skeleton, and even have trouble finding and getting them to move.
But after watching the instructional video and following the steps, I got something and wanted to try it out.
(I have encountered some difficulties in transplanting RE8's costumes to male zombies. I will continue to explore when I have time. It's really fun to explore the unknown like this.)
Although I really want to find a body shape that I like as a base, but splicing other people's works will not create new things. it is someone else's work and I can't upload it.
Of course, the resources of RE8 also have the same attributes, but the official objects are relatively less targeted. For learning and testing, porting is a good attempt.
I'm really happy to finally have this progress, the first time I saw the first zombie come out with Bella's head, I almost hugged the screen in excitement.
Afterwards, it was really great to deal with the problem of the zombie opening its mouth and try to overcome it.
My original idea would be to transplant some additional movements, but everything is done step by step, first try to successfully transplant the clothes, and then adjust some obvious head problems before trying to learn the replacement movements.
The sound part spent quite a bit of time trying out the tools and only got a rough idea.
In fact, if you want to play with clothing, you will almost go to the step of trying to fine-tune it yourself.
For instance,
No matter how to manually replace the clothing, the problem of the picture below will be encountered one day.
The most direct solution is to try it out with your own hands.
I took this small step with the language dilemma of reading and listening, and the fact that my computer was broken make me have to occupy my brother's computer for a limited time
So I believe that anyone with a heart can do it.
But I must first apologize for not being able to assist and teach others, and I still don't understand the purpose of the steps. (I'm someone who uses google translate. You don't choose toothpicks over jacks when your car breaks down. )
Anyway,
a simple formula,
(0*n+1*n)<(0.1*n+1*n)
No matter how small a step you take, the mod enjoyment in the same amount of time is far more than the wait.
In a word, this is bait, encouraging people like me who don't understand software at all to try and explore.
Many instructional videos are helpful, but I recommend beginners like me to start with Zerum's videos.
Take the first step and you will get more than you see.
I can do it (?) and you can too.
-----------------------------------------------------
First and foremost thanks to chiarav1 for making such an amazing Julia Voth, I can't ignore the big hole in Jill's neck created by me personally. (There's more to be thankful for.)
JTeghius Kittius' various game listings solve too many queries.
alphaz's various scripts and tutorials, I can't do anything without them.
FluffyQuack's tools are as essential as water, and play mod is impossible without them.
ReiKaz's sound editing tools and scattered commentary made it possible for me to try and face what I found difficult.
Sr. Wesky's sound tools make sound editing in previous generations less intimidating.
Wilsonso's action tools give RE5 an amazing vitality and possibility, and I would play the mod until I was obsessed with it at first, and it was absolutely indispensable.
DarknessRvaltier's mods and instructional videos were eye-opening. (Although I followed the operation for one night and ended in failure, but that is my personal problem. I will try more if I know more.)
ES47's various body clothing mods make me unable to control not using them even if I have a hole in Jill neck after removing the special head model and replacing it.
Zerum's instructional video gave me the guts to shoot a lion head on with a water gun.
There are so many people to be thankful for, and both direct and indirect favors are fully felt. I will edit and add more.
