Since some game EXEs can be hard to find, I've put together some XDelta patches for various versions. The ZIP below includes: - 110-to-106.xdelta (1.1.0 to 1.0.6)
- 106-to-110.xdelta (1.0.6 to 1.1.0)
- 106-to-106dbg.xdelta (1.0.6 to 1.0.6-debug) - debug menu can be accessed via LT+LB on controller.
- 106-to-106ger.xdelta (1.0.6 to 1.0.6-GER) (thanks to linkthehylian for finding it!)
- 106-to-106jpn.xdelta (1.0.6 to 1.0.6-JP)
- 106dbg-to-106.xdelta (1.0.6-debug to 1.0.6)
- 106ger-to-106.xdelta (1.0.6-GER to 1.0.6)
- 106jpn-to-106.xdelta (1.0.6-JP to 1.0.6)
You should be able to use these with www.romhacking.net/utilities/704/ to patch your EXE, that's what I used to create them at least. The 1.0.6 patches should work fine with the 1.0.6 EXE posted by Mr.Curious here: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/11630/1-6-version-exe-downloadThese were created with the original non-4GB patched EXEs, so you might need to restore your original EXE first before patching. After patching you can check the patch was successful via the EXE properties, the digital signature should show as valid (except 1.0.6 debug which doesn't have a signature) AFAIK these should all work fine with the 1.1.0 game data files, and RE4HD data files, not sure about other versions though. (haven't tried the GER build out that much yet though, afaik GER release might have had different data files, unsure if the EXE requires them or not) I'd recommend using re4_tweaks with them though, should work with all these builds, and allows things like the debug build "area jump" menu to be functional (and soon will include a feature to uncensor the censored JP release, or add censoring to uncensored versions if wanted, a test build with those can be found here) Download: re4_exe-version-patches-v3.zip

whats changes have in this version 1.1.0 is better than 1.0.6?

IIRC me & nipkow did notice some code improvements around the DX9 code in 1.1.0 too, which seemed to improve stability, can't recall the details exactly though, but it should be mentioned in one of the re4_tweaks github pages in case anyone wants to try finding it. In total 1.1.0 changes seemed to be: - Chinese-language support
- GX/DX9 rendering layer improvements
- Minor debug menu fixes (1.1.0 includes code to slow-down the debug menus so you don't skip past 10 items at a time, re4_tweaks reimplemented this for the other versions)

Seems to be still working for me, some reason this site is changing the link to something viglink.com though, not sure why.
Maybe try going to github.com/emoose/re4-research/issues/5 instead and use the re4_exe-version-patches-v3.zip link there directly.
