Wondering about what people's thoughts are in inconsistencies in 1st and 3rd person references in the MDT messages in the game Here is an example:
1 "You use the Old Key" 2 "Definitely the type I don't get along with"
In the first example we have the 3rd person (someone else is talking about us and says "you did this" In the second example, we see the 1st person (we are talking about ourselves using an "I" statement
Does this strike anyone as strange? I have tons of first person references in my mod, but plenty of 3rd person as well. Does this incongruity seem like something that breaks immersion?

I think the 3rd person is better used in actions you do (for this example, the "you used the Old Key") while 1st person is better for interacting with the environment, as if we were reading the character's thoughts to the scene.

Perhaps you are right, and that they can both co-exist. I just found it strange that they would go from one to the other.
