I decided to do it myself. I hope you guys can enjoy the results as much as I did!
- Magnum Revolver (replaces .44 Lightning Hawk)
This was my favorite gun in RE3 Nemesis, and it was very disappointing to realise this weapon was replaced by yet another Lightning Hawk. So here's the S&W 629 back! Unfortunately, I couldn't rig it accordingly to a revolver, because RE3 has no bones for it. However, the reload animation was succesfully imported from RE2 Remake.
- Merc's Handgun (replaces Carlos' G18)
This was by far the simpler weapon to import, but the hardest to find a weapon model. I have Dan Reihert to thank for sharing his model, otherwise this mod wouldn't have happened, because there are no SIGPRO models around. RE3 Nemesis actually had a SIGPRO SP2009, but I believe a Sig Sauer SP2022 is just as good as. I loved the result of this mod.
- Barry's Samurai Edge (replaces Infinite MUP)
There was no Barry in RE3 Remake's ending (Barry, where's Barry?), so we're paying tribute to him by having his weapon in the game. Since I replaced Jill's burst handgun into something else, I brought the mechanic back through this gun, which is actually cannon.
- Western Custom (replaces Jill's G18)
As much as the Western Custom in RE3 Nemesis worked as a shotgun, in reality it is a Rifle, since it's modeled after a Mare's Leg. As I couldn't change the ammo type into shotgun shells, it still uses 9mm rounds. The Mare's Leg is actually known and used as a handgun in some countries, so I'm fine with that. Focused shots will always critical strike to compensate the 4-shot capacity. It's very easy and fun to dismember zombies now. One-handed animations are avaiable for aiming and iddleing. The cowboy spin after shooting and reloading was also very fun to do.
- Rocket Launcher (replaces Infinite Rocket Launcher)
Finally we can use Jill's M66 Rocket Launcher instead of that boring Tube Launcher. This was by far the laborious mod, as I couldn't import RE2 and Resistance iddleing, walking and running animations. So, I had to edit over 80 animations for Jill and other 80 for Carlos by "hand" via 3DS Max. I believe the results are very good.
