I've been in this modding forum for quite some time now, but this is the very first time that I will be contributing lol.

This mod is nothing major, just a simple mod for the XBOX 360 buttons that will be replaced by PS4 Buttons from the Resident Evil 3 Remake.

I have been using DarkSamus' PS3 Button Mod for a while, but when I had a DS4, the layout for the buttons is not correct anymore since aim and shoot for the PS4 is L2 and R2 while the controls for the PS3 is L1 and R1.
So I have swapped the two and now the prompts for a PS4 controller is correct.

Really big credits to DarkSamus since I used his mod as a guide on mapping the buttons correctly. All I did was to swap L1 with L2, R1 with R2, and vice versa. He is also a big inspiration for me to create this mod for all those who want a PS4 layout button for Resident Evil 5.

I recommend using DS4Windows when using the PS4 controller in order to get the correct buttons

*Note that this mod is only for the English language of the game only. Feel free to use this mod to make one for the other languages. I simply lack the time to complete all languages for this mod. Just don't forget to give credits hehe

You need an ARC extractor and a photo editing software like Photoshop or GIMP in order to replace the buttons

This mods its broken, on chapter "Underground Garden" 5-1 i think, on the end of it, after killing the boss when he flop out down the game crashes an close, i pretty sure its because of this mod, i dont have any other mod. if can repair would be awesome, cheers!

oye amigo el mod esta bueno pero estoy intentando crearlo para el idioma español pero no puedo editar los botones que salen en el menú o los que salen el la configuración del mando solo puedo editar un archivo dds en el que sale el teclado y los botones de xbox360 como hago para editar en los demás lugares donde sale los botones como en el menú pausa la tienda y asi

One question, sorry for popping up this thread.... is there some special file into CoreResource for the menu button icons?
i cant find any ddS (the act_btn_360_NOMIP_BM) , unless it comes in a different format or something else is linked to it
I know is linked too to the jpn folder for overall things, specially in foreign languages

I know the rest are on GameResource, yet i cant find anything similar on CoreResource/ShopResource for the menu

Bro, I tried to modify the CoreResource.arc and Core2Resource.arc files, I extracted it with the old and new ArcTool but the .tex textures I can't manage to convert to a readable .dds file, do you happen to have the extracted textures in that format? and could you share them? or share the program you used to extract and convert the .TEX textures to .DDS? Please, I would really appreciate it.
