I tried changing some music (sg0d) with a customized sg0d.ogg by simply adding ".sngw" at the end and replacing it, but the format doesn't change from .OGG to .SNGW. So when I try to run the game with the ".ogg" file, it crashes. Anyone knows how to change the format? To clarify, I don't necessarily need to be using an .OGG file, I just don't know how to make an ".sngw" file. I can't edit the file itself because every audio editor needs to save the edited file as another format other than ".sngw".

You should add metadata which is present in the vanilla files - that contains loop data which is kinda important. Not sure about how important that is, but make sure your new ogg has 48kHZ sample rate too.
These basic edits you could do in Audacity.

I ended up following this tutorial (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=469916418) for Devil May Cry 4 that works with RE1R sngw files. They explain there how to do the conversion from .ogg to .sngw with ReNamer.

I can't comprehend why would you want to use an external tool for that. Glad everything worked out for you though.

But to answer your doubt, I did tried the easy way by simly renaming .ogg to .sngw, since I also read that solution. Unfortunately it didn't worked for me and I don't know why. Worked with ReNamer tho.
