aman, can you try to import/export Chris Warrior (pl20) with your script? There's some errors even if you didn't edit anything. As example, because of Mesh_010_00_LODx1_MatID:4_Group:2_DisplayMode:0 - It's edges without faces - parts of the glasses. -- Type error: if-test requires BooleanClass, got: 143 << max 2015 And some question about bones. Is there possibility to edit bones length? I'm planning to make my own model and i need to know, should i match game skeleton proportions or i will be able to change game skeleton proportions?

Aman did you make any updates to the tool ?
i would really appreciate if you can make some new updates xD
So far i got teh model in But The rigging is really broken xD
and when ever i try to use Skin warp Rigging wont apply on the new model at all xD
so im a bit confused =\

Didn't you upload a max file contain Sheva and a working rig before? How did you get that import working last time? What Max version did you use?

I tried max 2015 with mod tool v0.2 , I can import Chris Warrior, select some meshes and export whole thing to .NewMOD. no error. Just want to be clear the actual mod file name is pl0000.mod inside pl20/ directory in the ARC file. Don't know about the impact of changing bones length, could that mess up animation? Nothing stop you from changing thme, you have to try it and find out yourself.

Skin Wrap never give me good rig for RE5 skeletion, it took me days to correct the rig to reasonable shape. If it took an experience modder like FelixXCurve hours to fix the very poor Skin Wrap rig, that sound about right. What I am trying to say was the rig problem is not related to what mod tool imported, it is a max/skin wrap issue.

you get a good point about RE6 skin wrap works much better. may be I missed something import the RE5 mesh, we will see. i hope it works fine soon xD because re rigging a full model is a bit time consuming XD and i know how hard it is for you right now xD so all comes with time Guess what, I did find a bug in my import code, it failed to filter out the degenerated triangles and they confuse Skin Wrap modifier. Sorry folks especially to FelixXCurve. He could have rigged a character much faster. I have v0.21 mod tool update posted to first post.
