Hello there, guys. I am trying to make a mod for the 2007 version, got some ideas in which I need to get Leon's coordinates to spawn at other places when he enters the door. Did some search around the threads here and found the "Exact coordinates.CT" made by Infernal, so I tried it in the Cheat Engine and it shows me the Lua Script Prompt, then I hit enter and it shows some error: I decided to ignore this warning (because I don't know if it is a compatibility issue or anything else) and it shows the adresses table perfectly as it should. So I loaded the game.exe process and started to try and see if it would work: But, no luck. The values doesn't changes when Leon walks: So I did some more research about this and found out this script only works with 1.1.0 version, but my computer isn't capable of running that version (too weak). So my question is: there is another way/file to get Leon's coordinates with the 1.0 version of the game?
Or am I missing something? Any help will be much appreciated.

**Solved** with a workaround using Crzosk's AEV tool and .pmd viewer for position reference. If anyone needs a tutorial about this, just post here. Thanks.

Now that must've taken alot of dedication! I remember before I updated my machine i did wacky out of this world references by comparing the locations of items in the ITA and positions of enemies in the ESL. So glad I have 3ds max now, but Using Crzosk AEV tool and a PMD Viewer to make a event is very innovative too. Also you should try free 3D software called Metasequoia. Its for low end PCs. Before I updated my machine I was limited to Milkshape and Metasequoia. This is only good for exporting Position from Crzosks tools to OBJ and importing into this program. Then editing in this program then making edits into Crzosk tools.
You could Try using Raz0rs Latest Version of his Ultimate Trainer Companion DLL and press "F8" in game. . this should bring up the coordinates of your player, But the coordinates displayed in his DLL are different from CRZOSKs.
BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER, that the coordinates in CRZOSKs tools are 100x smaller then 3Ds Max or Sons of Persia Tools.
GoodWork!

I will search about this Metasequoia and try to learn how it works, it will be very useful. Also, I've learned many things with your tutorials around the forum, your dedication is also very inspiring. I am thankful for everything, keep up with the good work!

**Solved** with a workaround using Crzosk's AEV tool and .pmd viewer for position reference. If anyone needs a tutorial about this, just post here. Thanks. friend! could you post a tutorial on how you did it? **TUTORIAL FOR THE WORKAROUND *This method also works for the PS2 version (which is what I'm doing), but you'll need to install RE4 in your PC for position reference (because PS2 version doesn't have the .pmd files).
First of all, I'm assuming you already know how to extract the stX.dat and xscr.dat files using the GCA, but if you don't, just get the basis over here:
GCA Extract Tutorial
Then you'll need two tools:
RE4 Level Viewer (.pmd) by codeman Crzosk's Tools password is: Japan
After extracting the stX.dat and xscr.dat files, there will be the new folders:
(I will be using the st1.dat for example)
Inside the folder there will be the scenarios .dat files, choose the one you want to edit (I will be using the r100 (first gate to the village) for example).
After extracting the Crzosk tools, open up the folder and execute the Bio4_AEV.exe:
Don't worry about the strange chars, this pic below (I don't know who made this translation, but thanks) and me will guide you.
Now, browse and open your desired rXXX.dat file:
- -
The red rectangle shows the position coordinates Leon will be spawned after entering the scenario:
Next step: we need to get the desired coordinates with RE4 Level Viewer application, so let's execute it now and open the xscr folder with the next scenario id (r101, village):
**(If you're confused about this, just know that r100 (first scenario) final gate takes us to r101 (village) and you can see a full list of the scenarios over here: Scenario List rXXX)
Load up the r101_000.pmd file:
This will show us the whole 3D scenario, so let's choose where we want Leon to spawn:
Notice the camera coordinates at the left side, they are the position reference you'll need to use at Crzosk AEV Tool. So, return to AEV Tool and change the values to what are shown in the .pmd viewer, just like this:
*Y coordinate means height, so put it at zero for standard ground height (however, if Leon walks up in some kind of higher ground, you'll need to change Y coordinate a little higher to become equivalent and avoid spawning underground)
After that, save the .dat file at the second option (save it twice just to make sure it will work):
Now open up your game and see Leon answering his "phone" just inside the tower
The progress of this workaround may seem a bit confusing, but practice makes perfection, so don't give up!
There may exist other methods, but this one works just fine by now. I hope you understand all of it, but if not, just post down here and I will try to help you!

My friend thanks for the tutorial but i have another question and its about how to get coordiante of TRRIGERZONE AEV you show us how to teleporte is the TRRIGERZONE will created the same method you did it? Hi there. I don't know if I understood your question clearly, but here's what I can say so far: Did you mean how to create something like this? Change the position of the triggerzone?
If so, you can change the triggerzones coordinates at Crzosk tool right over here:The four values at the triggerzone coordinates makes up a geometric form (square or rectangle) with 4 sides, so make sure the size is big enough for Leon to hit it. And you can use the .pmd viewer for the position reference and insert the coordinates at Crzosk tool, the same way it works for teleportation.
You can learn a more in-depth tutorial about AEV geometric (with better images) at Mr. Curious AEV Tutorial. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more doubts/questions, I am here to help.

Hello.. How to extract triggerzone height coordinates to crzosk aev ? With extract you mean how to edit them at Crzosk's aev tool? If so, you can do that by getting the Y coordinates at RE4 Level Viewer tool and put them at the last fields here: ------- And here is how it works: There are two very well detailed tutorials for aev file, you can see them here and here.
