Unfortunately this has caused the game to crash at seemingly random periods once I've inserted it into the demo folder. The furthest I've reached is the initial loading screen for the Castle demo, but in most instances the game is crashing just after the RE Engine splash screen.

Nice! If your filepath dumper is working a-ok, then there's no rush for me to finish my code. I made my variant in case you weren't available to update your tool for RE8.

I have exactly the same hook as yours, after the release I will have to fix it anyway. Therefore, you can release your hook

How does this work? Drop the dll into the game directory, Then what? Is there a hotkey to press? The .dll will run by itself. The log it creates will show up in your install folder.

hi, can you make it for RE2 please? i am using re2hook but its not working. I want to complete a translation mod project and I found 5 new msg files and 2 of them are msg files for '98 costume dlc. I hope ekey updates the list.
