the best way i think would be if someone really would make a mod what you can put in the game like the xfile/xscr mods .... but it seems to be pretty hard to do or another way if someone would finish & fix the texmod application ... for a few people it might work but the most ppl have all the same issues... YEah....... I hate The Texmod Bugs...

I hate The Texmod Bugs... me too, believe me that, but since the UHD is out the most people focus on modding this version i think, and so this stuff wont really be fixed & i guess its because the UHD edition dont need a texmod at all so why fix it for the old version ... i got the UHD too & finished all 100% & use some mods & sure, its cool at all but somehow i play the old version many more, dunno why & i saw in other forums people saying that they laugh at people who say the 2007 version is superior, well, i didnt say that but in the end i think its just a matter of taste i mean, look, my wife for example, an arabic female & for me the superior 'version' of female, there you can put miss universe naked on my table i would just push her annoyed away to make the way free to look at my tv lol would never happen with my wife, no matter what, all a matter of taste i think & as you see, not many people anymore active in modding the old version ....

Well there is a chance to make a HD HUD using the core.dat. It's possible to increase textures' resolution, but the problem is that this file has limitation for it's size. It's original size is about 1488kb, but when it goes above 1520kb - the game crashes. So probably the solution is to find which core.dat textures are not important (if any) and to replace them with something like smallest 8x8 textures to decrease the size, and that will give some room for the HD hud textures...
