It's fascinating you were able to figure out how to bring chainsaw/minigun sounds in non-default locations, especially because such enemies must emit sound that'd alert you. As I was trying out other Hard modes, it's very frustrating when such enemies don't even make footstep sounds.
Also, your sound location correction also works for these other difficulty mods, just by replacing st1,st2,st3,ogg files with your modified files. Despite there are certain locations that again don't have sound for them, it's already a great achievement that it's possible to correct sounds in locations. I thought it's impossible.
Your discovery is very valuable.
