I have the following question, is it possible to change the volume of the song being played in the game? I faced the problem that the new music added to the game usually plays very quietly, I tried using various music editing programs to artificially increase the volume for the added music, but there is a certain threshold for artificially increasing the volume, because after increasing the volume and saving the sound file loses playback quality and there are noises. Is it possible by editing any of the files, for example FSE, to forcibly change the volume of the song being played in the game?

You need to use compression on the files as they will, by default, play at their maximum value. Using compressions allows us to raise the overall volume of the file without clipping the audio (hitting the ceiling). We can use the FSE to lower this volume, but in my experience we can not make it louder. I have added countless songs to my bio4bgm.xwb without issue. I use SoundForge to adjust the levels, but there are other free programs like Audacity that should also have built in compression tools.

Can you elaborate more on what type of compression you use? i always have to clip the audio to make it higher, and almost everytime i can notice a huge loss in sound quality

kTeo I had an education in sound design 20 years ago, but don't have the energy to get into it here. There's probably a thousand articles online about compression. Try playing around with it. Set output to 0db (the ceiling) and try a compression ratio of 3:1. If its too loud lower the ceiling, or use a lower ratio. Most music in games doesn't have kicks or other spikey sounds, so its fairly easy to get more volume without crushing the song.

I think a lot of people, including people like me and kTeo, will benefit from such a video.

look up compression and Audacity. There's got to be like a thousand youtube videos.
