This is made using HEX EDITOR on your bio4.exe

values are in float32 with bytes in backwards

to find something, search for 1,0 1,2 1,4 (3 first upgrades for handgun in this example)

put everything at once for search at hex

byte order: intel

data type: float32

at the end, the code will be:

00 00 80 3F 9A 99 99 3F 33 33 B3 3F

if you find more than one result, insert the next firepower value and/or choose the one without repeated values before your bytes
array.

NOTE: changing the main handgun (23 00) firepower values messes with all other firepower values for some reason. you should

leave that one at the original value and only modify firepower for other weapons.

in this example, i changed the first firepower of the wooden rifle to 6.0.

00 00 80 40 turned into 00 00 C0 40

sorry for not answering earlier, i probably clicked the notification by accident so it disappeared XD

i often use THIS SITE to convert the values and then throw it in HxD (remember to put that value in little endian order). when already inside HxD you can only select the 4 bytes and modify by the window on the right, at the "Single (float32) line that shows the exact value in decimal.

but if you prefer, you can not use that site at all and search everything inside HxD too. Press Ctrl+F, go to "Floating point number" tab and search for your value at type "Single (float), 4 bytes". you can only search for one value at a time so you should use a txt to copy the results and in the end put everything in sequential order.

If you are using HxD go to the View bar on top and activate the data interpreter...

View / Toolbars / Data Inspector

doing this allow you to see translations of the values and this includes 32bit float. You can also switch between big and little endian at the bottom of the inspector.
