How's it going people. I been looking into the files for a bit, and I found the scratched fixed cameras for this game. Yes, the official ones back from the early builds of the game. I did not find a way to enable the fixed camera mode, all I did was taking the camera positions from the file and applying them to the player camera. Anyway, here's some screenshots: RPD Entrance: The ones behind bars are pretty strange if you ask me, but the shot from the front of the RPD is incredibly cool and the ones from the bottom part are awesome as well. Courtyard: The first shot in particular I think is great. The second one feels a bit weird due to it being behind that plant thing. I assume it's there to make you feel watched. The rest are pretty cool. Fire Exit: All of these shots scream classic Resident Evil to me. I love all of these. RPD Main Hall: There's 1 shot that I had to offset a bit due to it clipping with a model. Reception Room: The first two shots had to be fixed due to clipping issues. File Room: Operation Room: These are all the ones I've taken screenshots of for now. I'll be adding more of these to the thread soon.

I'm implementing these fixed camera angles in a mod:

This is a pretty epic find Zealot Tormunds... Congrats! Really curious to see this in action, thanks for sharing what you found, seeing this in action as a possible 2nd option that the game could have had is truly a missed opportunity.
It really could have been another way to give players more ways to enjoy this experience (more replay value, going through the game in the over the shoulder and then also running through the game in the classic fixed camera mode), adding more of what fans had hoped to see being included along with this remake (or reimagining).
I imagine that the break necked pace (schedule) that they had also impacted this being a possible addition, but is interesting that they had experimented with the fixed camera angles but instead decided upon more of a re4 camera approach... just imagine... if they had decided to included both approaches into the game... they really would have made the fans happy.

Any news on this project? Also, do fixed camera angles exist in the files for every part of the entire game?
