Hello, touch-up lovers. After playing further than the first 3 levels, I realized that the color grading of my previous preset was weird in some circumstances. That's why I totally rethought my previous work. This time, I first went through a Fix which totally removed all the filters leaving the game very colorful and banal ( everything I hate ) From there, I applied a brand new color palette and added many effects ( border, DOF, chromatic aberation, bloom etc...) The game offers a real movie experience, whatever the level you choose! So if you want to rediscover this game I hope my work will help you In order for this to work properly there's going to have to be some manipulation. First install the last version of reshade and run the installer under DX9 then, download my custom file here: mega.nz/folder/zzgBxJya#Ybpgp5-ikD5KZZp1WL-degPutt dinput8.dll and scripts folder in main directory. -Delete now reshade/shader folder and rename d3d9.dll to reshade.asi. Put it with reshade.ini into the scripts folder. Modify in the reshade.ini file this section: PreprocessorDefinitions=RESHADE_DEPTH_LINEARIZATION_FAR_PLANE=0000.02,RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_UPSIDE_DOWN=0,RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1,RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_LOGARITHMIC=0 Then copy the content of the Filter Killer file in the main directory. Hotkeys: -Scroll/lock: add/remove the original color filter -insert: activate reshade effect For a better result you can use Resident Evil 5 GE Ultimate Trainer and use hd shadow, hide HUD and DoA physics in settings tab. (https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil5goldedition/mods/2) Screenshots best viewed in fullscreen mode! have fun and please be nice ,tell me what you thought about it Screenshots and comparaisons here: sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/10762/have fun

I'm having trouble installing the mod. 😅 Do you plan on making a video tutorial on how to install it? TIA!

For those having trouble, here is what I did:
1. Install the latest version of Reshade.
2. Put the dinput8.dll file and "scripts" folder into the main directory. DO NOT DELETE d3d9.dll and reshade.ini yet!
3. Copy and paste your original d3d9.dll file and reshade.ini into the "scripts" folder and then rename that d3d9.dll to reshade.asi (once inside). 4. Replace your original d3d9.dll file in the main directory with the author's one inside the "Filter Killer" folder. Make sure you move the DX9Settings.ini file and "shader override" folder into the main directory as well.
5. Add PreprocessorDefinitions=RESHADE_DEPTH_LINEARIZATION_FAR_PLANE=0000.02,RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_UPSIDE_DOWN=0,RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1,RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_LOGARITHMIC=0 to your reshade.ini file in "scripts" and save your changes. 6. Configure the DX9Settings.ini file in the main directory to your liking. 7. Boot up RE5
8. Select the preset ini. and configure your reshade settings so that the file paths for effects and textures are correct.
9. Profit!!!
Hopefully this helps someone.
