1st i want to say hello & respect to all the ppl here who are doing great things about modding, im no modder & relative new to pc gaming generally but im into resident evil since the 1st 1 was out, so well, here my questions: im from germany & at release of the resident evil 4 uhd edition on steam it was impossible for me to get it as import & so i got the censored version (means no assignment ada & no mercenaries) 1st question: is there a chance to ever get an uncut patch/exe like there is for l4d 1+2, fallout 3 & the old 2007port of resident evil 4 or do i have to buy it again as imported version? 2nd question, i saw some awesome mods like negaarmax hd leon & some environments, will they be compatible with the german version too or is there a higher risk that the game will crash? i hope i posted here in the right section etc. please excuse if not, like i said its all relative new for me & many thx & respect to all the modders here & i hope my english isnt all to bad,nice greetings ^^

As far as texture replacement mods is concerned I see no problem, because I think there is not much changed on the ImagePackHD and ImagePackSD between localized versions speaking in terms of structure (some files are specific to each language though, mostly letters and UIs textures). Correct me if I am wrong but replacing the german exe with an US exe wouldn't uncensor this version? I didn't tried cause mine is the US release so I am not sure, maybe more files need to be replaced but still is worth a shot...

yeah, i tried the mods & they work &look amazing but to get an us or uncut pal bio4.exe just seems to be impossible ... thank you anyways^^
EDIT: well, it works indeed but only that long till it gets patched to the last version, so it needs an already 1.06 patched pal/us uncut exe or everything is gone again after ....
