ULTIMATE CLASSIC JILL
The definitive 1999 feeling
Hey everyone! This is my first mod for an RE game and it's aimed to be the most accurate recreation of the classic outfit. You'll have several options to choose from when it comes to gear, and alternative colours if you want that extra special nostalgic look. The mod started out simply as me trying to learn RE modding and getting rid of clipping from a mod I already love , but it eventually became more ambitious and I decided to port Kendo's harness for Jill. Credits:A HUGE thanks for SilverEzredes & CrazyPotato for their previous work! I couldn't have done this without them. An extra special thanks for Alphaz for his tools and all his help! all I achieved was thanks to him so thank you so much! ~ Features ~ [/u]options to chose from, mixing classic or remake gear together or neither [*]Colour variations [*]Original game rig used as base and manually improved [*]All normals have been improved, greatly increasing the quality of lighting in the model (like the boots) [*]Improved physics (the pouches move) [*]All clipping issues removed (only one remaining is the skirt when running, but unfortunately because of how the animation plays it can't be fixed) [*]Mirror cutscene compatible [*]No neck seam [/ul]Download whichever version you want, then download the colour variation if you so wish. Great work!
BTW, if you wanted to make this even more closer to the original you could use the boots from the vanilla Classic outfit. That way they would have both socks, and also they're not as high heeled.

Thank you so much everyone! I'm glad you all like it Are you fucking kidding me?! This is EXACTLY what I was wanting! Great work! BTW, if you wanted to make this even more closer to the original you could use the boots from the vanilla Classic outfit. That way they would have both socks, and also they're not as high heeled. The various options started being a pain in the butt after a while because there were too many meshes that needed replacing lol If I were to change one detail I would have to change it on all outfits, and that would mean importing/exporting and modding some 18 times because of the hospital/mirror/infected looks  I might return to this mod at a later date, some people have given other feedback over at nexus too that I might use I dunno. It really depends if I'll stop being lazy and do it lol For now I'm gonna focus on a DSC Claire I've wanted to make for a long time.

Love it, but I'm noticing a 15 to 20 fps drop when using this outfit. Switching outfits instantly brings it back up. And the other thing isn't big, since it's only the first person hands, which you don't see too often, but I noticed this on the left hand. (Just realized you mentioned the hand thing)

Damn.... Yea, I'd completely understand if you decided not to mess with that Didn't realize it would be THAT much work. This is still the most accurate representation of the Classic outfit to date, and I'll definitely be using it. Beautiful job once again, and a damn fine mod for your first RE mod. You should be proud

This looks amazing, honestly. Perhaps the potential to be the best classic outfit mod. There is one slight issue, however. If you could, by chance, fix the legs underneath the skirt? It just cuts off. Her legs disappear upwards. I don't mean this in a pervy way or whatever, I don't take pleasure in looking up her skirt, but it's a little immersion breaking when camera angles on that part during certain cutscenes/QTE sequences and that part of her legs is invisible. If maybe you can add the shorts part of the skort from the default skirt, I think that could work pretty well

Thank you for bringing back my 1997 memories! I never get tired of True Classic costume mods. They are all great and a lot better than the official crap. Also huge thanks for bringing back the color scheme and all these holsters options! I love the original 1997 RE3 starting outfit (color + no holster). This is currently my favourite Classic costume mod! With these options, I think it is almost perfect. Only the socks fix & shorter skirt for less clipping left if you have the time lol I like your color scheme and No holster option but I like SilverEzredes' version with fixed socks+shorter skirt as well. Hope we can have the best of both worlds in the future lol
