You absolutely nailed it on the geometry side, but I think if you made a few more small texture edits this would be perfect.
For instance, some of the things that always stood out the most to me about RE4 Leon is how he has those lines on his lower lip, and his bright blue eyes. Especially his eyes, it's like they're beaming straight to your soul

But I'm probably just being nit picky. Outstanding job nonetheless

i think that those lines were there to reflect some kind of ''light'' since back then they had some limitations due the graphics although you probably right about the eyes cuz i always mess up with choosing the eyes, maybe i should make an update because im not too happy with the dirt textures but for now im gonna focus on Claire
