Hello! This is my first time posting on the RE modding forums after following various mods and their talented authors on here for years, and having an idea of what is possible in Resident Evil 3 Reimagined in particular with mods. As such, I think these two requests are not unreasonable or unrealistic.
I would really like a mod for Carlos's camera in RE3 Reimagined that removes the zoom when aiming while keeping the camera lined up with where the gun is aiming properly, similar to this mod on the Nexus: www.nexusmods.com/residentevil32020/mods/129
Mods for Carlos that do this (the mod only effects Jill) do not exist to my knowledge on the RE3 Nexus or on the forums here. Apparently nobody has found out where his camera files are. I've been slowly researching RE3 modding to try and figure this out for myself, but I'm new to this and an experienced modder is likely to have much more success. I've seen a lot of requests for this, so I know I'm not the only one eager for this.
The second mod request I have is to remove/delete some floating trash located on the curb across the street from where you exit out the subway and into Raccoon City proper for the first time in RE3 Reimagined. If a screenshot is needed to identify the location I can provide one, but it should be easy to find by simply walking across the street opposite of the shutter door that allows entry and exit to the subway. It's the same area where the dodge tutorial appears when a zombie shows up after a crowd of people run by.
I know it is a small thing, the trash cluster is floating maybe 3 inches off the ground or so, but it's ugly, distracting whenever I go by the area and I'd much rather it gone. I believe this is the only instance of a notably misplaced object in RE3 that I have seen, and it's early on. I know mods can remove environmental objects like in the "More Investigation" mod that removes barricades of boxes, found here: www.nexusmods.com/residentevil32020/mods/136
Additionally, as a few extra requests, there is some z-fighting (flickering) on a window sill next to the item box in the hospital infirmary on the ground floor (the makeshift sickroom save room). Again this should be easy to spot but I can provide screenshots if needed. If it is possible to fix the issue that'd be awesome, but I do doubt it since I am unsure if level geometry can be edited.
A more likely minor request in the Hospital area would be fixing some floating syringes in the Operating Room in the Hospital, on a desk on the right side of the room on a small table next to some hospital equipment. It's the room with a bunch of supplies and the note with the safe code. I assume this could be fixed with the same method as fixing the floating rubble in the city streets. While this instance has two floating syringes, it appears to be one prop object in the game's data.
Lastly, there is a case of flickering (z-fighting) broken glass on the street in Raccoon City near the barricade that comes down and leads down the stairs to the donut shop. The glass is specifically located near a supply box, right around the base of it. It may be a bit tricky to see with box rubble in the way, but it is most certainly there. It should be able to be fixed by removing one of the broken glass props there. There seem to be two broken glass cluster props on the street, and removing one of them would be sufficient to fix the issue.
I hope someone with the skills to make these mods possible will see this request and consider it, both would improve my enjoyment of RE3 even more! I am also willing to compensate anyone who successfully creates either (or both) of these mods with a monetary bounty reward on PayPal, of a reasonable sum that they would consider fitting to the amount of work put in. I'd guess something like $200 (Canadian dollars) would be suiting if all or most of my requests are fulfilled (I do not expect the z-fighting to be able to be fixed). Less would be paid out for less completed requests, understandably. I am assuming that is around standard for a bounty like this, but I am willing to negotiate within reason.
Thank you in advance to anyone reading this! If you have questions feel free to comment here or private message me. Messaging me to simply let me know you are working on one of the requests is also appreciated!
