This mod is still not perfect and therefore WIP but I'm uploading it to hear your thoughts on how it looks so far and if you like the concept. Most of these posters, aside from the framed Niravana poster, are all from the time of Jill's Childhood, meaning the Early 80's. Most of us have kept some posters and other things from our childhood right? Why should Jill be any different? So I put some posters depicting media from the early 80's when Jill would have been growing up. If you have suggestions for different posters, now is the time. Keep in mind Jill was born in 1974 so take into account her age at the time of that media's release when making suggestions. Thanks to Crazy Potato for showing me how to upscale the textures to 4K and converting it from dds to tex. The reason the posters are slightly misaligned texture-wise is because the textures have those extra "stretch textures" around the actual poster part that you see and distinguishing where the stretch textures you don't actually see begin and what part is the actual texture is rather difficult. As a result the placement was ever so slightly off. This will be fixed in the final version. The Black Sabbath Poster is from 1970, but perhaps her father gave it to her? www.mediafire.com/file/of4r6174d11kdqr/Jill%2527s_Vintage_Apartment_Posters.rar/filewww.nexusmods.com/residentevil32020/mods/205/

Not working for me unfortunately (latest steam version)
(Edit) , Yes it does , but not in the usual way , i noticed after trying to enable it in fluffy unsuccessfully there was an unzipped folder placed in the main game directory instead of the mod folder with the contents of the mod , placing THIS folder in the mod directory & enabling it in fluffy works , its a great mod , i like these smaller little touches , maybe n the future we could replace all the posters in game with real life ones like this instead of the capcom ones ?, great work

I need to perfect this one first, however. The next project will be replacing the movie posters with real movies that were around at that time. The posters directly above the movie theater will be replaced with movies that came out in September of 1998 and the other movie posters that are in the Subway will be movies that came out in October 1998. I’m also going to make a Raccoon city touring advertisement with real bands on it!

Yes this is what i was thinking , real 90s movie posters etc , its these kind of mods that give the most immersion for me , small touches add up & create a much more immersive & fun game , im trying to do some full walkthroughs of both games but im waiting on mods in progress for both games & well worth the wait , because in effect in their vanilla state i did not like these games but with the mods i play all the time now so great work & thanks for making these mods , makes the games so much better

That one is finished already and you can find it on this site or Nexus. I also agree with you that it's the little details that sell a time period, to help properly date something. Capcom screwed up this time around with putting in the wrong pop culture references. They put in way too much 80's and not enough 90's then they've overmodernized other parts and it makes people confused as to when the game takes place. The only things they managed to actually nail was Jill's ugly Glock 19 Gen 2 and her phone in the apartment.

Great work once again, maxwellian Nice choice for the Metallica poster. Ride The Lightning was one of their best albums.

Oh yes i have the 90s covers got it on day one , im here every day looking through & nexus (not as much on nexus as mods keep getting deleted for no good reason) & yes they went a bit over the top on the 80s & mega man was plugged a little to much to my mind , tell you what its not a request as i can imagine how time consuming making mods is & i would not have a clue but if you find yourself lacking a 90s poster etc , you could throw in something of evanescence , they started in 95 , would be so good but dont tell me where it is............let me search the game top to bottom for it !! lol , this is good work , i just wish i could make mods but i know its beyond me , im just grateful others dedicate their time making them & improving vanilla games.
