Hello everyone,
I am always rendering my Texture Templates with the UV Editor in 3DS MAX.
Its very comfortable to create and finish nearly everything with only 1 programm.
So thats how i create my Textures with the UV Templates.
First -After you setup your 3D Outfits on your Model , add UNWRAP UVW Modifier in the list and click OPEN UV Editor
Second : In the UV Editor , you see the body uvs with other uvs. Each 3D assets need to be resized and set up in a pattern field.
(Patterns are an 2D-Dimensoial Diagramms, squares or other math polygons and it exist in a 3D Template form aswell)
Third: After your UVS are placed and setup, you need to render this UV template to apply later your Texture on it. Click tools and select RENDER UVW TEMPLATE
Fourth: It will open up another window (Render UVs) and follow the steps at the image.
Fifth : In the Render UV Template Output File Section: You need to select the format (DDS is recommended for the Textures) and save it.
Sixth: In the DDS Configuration, dont change anything, click only OK
Seventh: Render your UV TEMPLATE
After this all it will open up Render Display Map to see your rendered UVs.
You can import the .DDS file in Photoshop and apply your textures and create the Textures of Your model
Thats it.
If you have Questions, in my discord or in the RE modding Discord you can find me or other modders and help will be provided
Stay at home , take care and happy modding bros and sis.

This is good advice. I think I've just figured out how to simulate clothing onto the model in 3DS Max so hopefully I can move onto the UV Editor part now if there are no other steps to making the clothing stay put. I was going to use Material Editor but I might try your method instead. Cheers mate.

So i followed the steps above but then I have a question, this creates one UV map/ texture but RE3 uses more than one texture, how do you edit the rest? Do you have to rename the file to match the other texture files as well?
