not to forget, also the stagla gas station that can be seen through the alley way after first run in with the zombie. i dont see why that section was cut. seem like capcomm had plans but for some reason later scrapped it.

If only Capcom released their RE Engine tools, now that would open a lot more doors and bring in more interest in modding these new RE games.

Someone told me if Capcom released a public version of RE Engine along with a world builder, modders can go crazy and even create their own scenarios of RE. Now I'm not sure if said person is bullshitting me but imagine the possibilities!

It would certainly make things considerably easier with simply more possibilities in general if there were access to these tools. Right now, my concern with being able to expand areas in the game specifically is attempting to get this working correctly via the hex editor may prove to be very difficult or even impossible. Especially so with the game being imbedded with Denuvo, making it even more of a pain (Some of the more experienced modders may have better insight into this than I, as I am mostly speaking from face value here). My dream would not only open these areas up but to be able to add content to them as well... If there was a means to gain direct access to the code, RE Engine tools, and view the environments within a map/world editor it would be a night and day difference with what would become possible. Part of the issue (Probably the biggest issue TBH) with this though is that this could bring us essentially to the point of being able to easily pirate the game. But I suppose if you look at what the modding community has done with such games as Skyrim, and even some of the RE titles there could be some reasonable ground to make this possible without infringing on this and other legal/copyright issues. I am pretty frustrated with what they have done with my second favourite game in the series (Right behind RE Remake). Overall I really enjoyed the campaign it was really well done for what it is and the game is beautiful, but you can tell it was rushed with so many additional cool things they could have done. Even some of the simpler things like give Jill all her bonus costumes, add bonus costumes for Carlos (besides a lame hair swap labled as a classic costume)... make some of these costumes and other rewards something to achieve with a proper S+ rank system.. just more city exploration, searching, etc with Nemi lurking about.. Anyway I am getting off topic here with my ranting.. Going to hopefully figure out a means to make some of this possible, hopefully there are those in the community that may have some solid ideas on how to make this a reality, and well it would be extremely nice if Capcom would release some DLC fixing this or even a Directors Cut with substantial improvements... sigh but thats wishful thinking

RE3 Remake is still in Denuvo? That sucks. They took it out from RE2 Remake and RE7 already... hmm... Oh, I agree with your dream. I'd love for it to be realized haha That sucks if it would pirate the game. But imagine being able to mod RE2 and RE3 Remake as freely as Skyrim lol I can't even begin to imagine. Now I know this is a long shot but I don't like how RE2 Remake's story went out, would you say modding with this much freedom be able to fix it as well as its' scenarios? XD XD A fan can dream lol I loved RE3 Remake but I agree it could've used another hour or so. In my ideas, I'd add Jill getting chased by Nemesis in the clocktower in a lengthy sequence similar to the intro but longer. And after the chase, Nemesis mutates and the clocktower boss fight commences. Another idea I had is on the way to rescue Jill, Carlos has to run through the park and graveyard which triggers the Gravedigger boss. Just these two additions and RE3 Remake may essentially replace original RE3 for me in my favorites or at least tie to it lol More costumes would be beloved. I'm upset at the lack of I really wanted the biker outfit from the original haha Hopefully RE Engine world-building tool does happen. Someone else told me modding of this capability would let us do a fun third-person version of RE7 but with Leon or Jill or other characters haha I WOULD LOVE THAT XD

Couldn't stop thinking about Re engine editor tool after beating the game...I was so underwhelmed with the city segment. The intro got really nice alleys including Jack's bar and warehouse.I really wish there was a way to implement these somehow in the game/make an area accessible. While you are at it, it would have been nice to also remove these barricades to create a shortcut as the pathways behind leads to subway. There are two doors there that are locked though after you and Carlos pass through them at the beginning. imgur.com/UUbpp6cimgur.com/ESPEOjL

All support for this project, this would make the game 200000000% better experience. Even better if you could mix the item placement a bit more to have some more backtracking etc.

Would really love a bigger city segment but I feel it would be too daunting to do. The game needs a complete overhaul.

For clock tower and park it would have to be created from zero. Not to mention the game only has two puzzles... If we could implement puzzles somehow it would be amazing, but I guess it's impossible...

Creating something completely new wouldn't work, but mixing up item placements and adding something like custom notes would add more than enough new actual content/lenght.

I vaguely recall someone messing around with the global collision for RE2 remake last year. I forgot who it was, but I do recall there was a video for it somewhere on youtube.

That's a really nice project! I didn't realize it at first, but the downtown area isn't that small after all. It feels small because from the moment Jill creates a diversion in the subway station, it's mostly corridors. But if you take into account the whole thing, ie. the subway station, the commercial district, the power plant, the sewers, the construction site, the Kendo gunshop street, the gas station and the alleyways in between, it's a pretty big setting! Some people complained that the map would be too small for a Mercenaries mode, but I don't agree. All they need to do is remove what's blocking the streets because most of these areas are connected.
