Hey modders and future players.
Being dissapointed that Jill wont have opportunity to visit the RPD station i hope the modders will make some workaway to open this location to JILL, or even open the whole RPD for us to explore. As for gore, i think it will be much easier to implement than stage modificiation.

Jill does go into the RPD in RE3 remake. Are you sure? Everyone said she doesn't, that you get to play the RPD section with Carlos only

So here's what I'm thinking. Gore restoration should be relatively easy, could make the game a little more performance demanding due to the higher zombie count overall, but 4th survivor in 2's Remake had VERY high zombie counts, and they had their gore system, so I figure it shouldn't be that big a deal to get running.
As for RPD, that could get tricky, but essentially, you'd have a choice to go into the RPD via the Garage when you're at that point in the game, there's an obvious risk/reward factor, like maybe being able to pick up the magnum early from Berry's desk in the STARS office, and just in general being able to pick up some loot and shit to reward you for putting up with the zombies and lickers inside, this would also better utilize the lickers. And of course Nemesis would show up at some point, so if you pick up the magnum, nice job, you get a magnum early, but now you have to deal with Nemesis in the area, which also gives us more Nemesis screen time, something this game needs pretty badly, since he's currently mostly relegated to scripted events, Having nemesis roam the RPD trying to find you like Mr. X in 2 would be pretty cool. Maybe make it so you can find Brad lying dead on the ground, not quite turned zombie yet, since this would take place a little bit before Carlos comes around, Maybe he found his way back to the RPD before succumbing to the virus, I dunno, go wild with it.
Just in general, having Nemesis being able to get around and be a threat like he was in the demo part of the game would be preferable, because he feels criminally underutilized in his current incarnation.
Stage modifications are tricky though, so I have no doubt that it would be no simple task, importing the RPD from 2, hand placing loot, enemies, balancing it all out to feel fair... It would be a challenge

it can be done though. also someone needs to look into opening up the way to the gas station and possibly setting some events off there though the area is small. maybe add some zombies

Without access to the game engine itself not too much can't be done - parts maybe, but that's still a 'maybe'.

Most of the RPD model from RE2 isn't in RE3. The only rooms in the RPD in RE3 are the ones used in the Carlos section. There's nothing leading from the parking garage to the actual upstairs and such. There's a video on youtube where they explore with the walk through walls mod and the shut doors are empty behind them. There is however a random living police officer model in the T pose under the statue in the main hall that isn't used in the game.
