As the title says, how do you add lights to the environment? Is it possible?
Since I have a bunch of time (about 8 months) free and looooooooove the original Resident Evil 2, I was wondering if there was any way to add light sources to the game. I'd be willing to do it as my first mod, and the game needs to have a story conversion (Direct copy of RE2 story voice overs and scenarios) if possible too.
Thanks in advance!

That is what I wanted to find since the game was released. However, after so much time of not finding anything like that, I was very happy to even be able to remove most of the darkness from the game with my first mod (RE2 LightsOn), and restore the well-lit atmosphere from the original game.

Okay. So, what's the problem with modding the remake? Would a proper mod not be possible?
Oh and thanks for making the lights on mod BTW!

I don't have the proper knowledge to add light sources properly. I can even assume that it may be impossible to add light sources throughout the game without some sort of map editor. Anyway, I searched for more than a year for ways to make it brighter or at least lose the blue tint that gets activated when you exit a well-lit room. I tried finding what values change with CheatEngine. I tried a "mobile light source" by modifying a Flashlight script for Reshade in order to make it brighter, with a bigger radius, and to illuminate the background. Finally, I tried and managed to learn a little about what 3dmigoto can do, and the result was my mod, which is finally something enough to make me actually enjoy this game
