Carabine in game is not Mk18 CQBR (mk18 has even shorter barrel) It's pretty much a Colt M933, but that would be anachronistic also. Most likely 'In universe' explanation of this gun would be tahat's a modified M4A1 www.forcerecon.com/strongmenarmed3.htmIn this article , there is a photo of Force Recon marine around 1998-9 whit similiar gun, most likely a "flattop" M4 with barrel swaped from older Colt M733 witch Force Recon owned a small number of at the time .( He was died in accident in December 1999, so picture is 100% older then that)

Although the RE3 Assault Rifle does have a short barrel like the MK18.

Or just make it M933, wikipedia said it started production 1995, was preatty sure it was introduced bit later.
But non the less that's not CQBR.
M4 - has 14,5 inch barrel
M733 and M933 - had 11,5 barell , M733 had fixed carry handle on top like M16A1/A2 , M933 had removeable carry handle with rail beneath it.
CQBR has 10,3 inch barrel

I actually made this change the other day! Just hadn't got around to uploading it.. so! Update v0.6: - Changed MK18 CQBR to Colt 933 and changed preview screenshot too.

Btw, in the full version, the new Magnum is Desert Eagle in .44 Magnum. You can change it the new Mag ammo to .44 Magnum instead .50 AE.
