ITEM > ID of the item that will appear on the stage. EXAMPLE: IN BLUE SQUARE ID 87 = SPINEL Rnd > Item randomness, if the Rnd number is "0", the item will be fixed and, if it is "16", the item will be random In > In will define if the item will be in a barrel, enemy or if it will be free in the scenario, just go and get it, If the number is "1" it will be linked to an enemy. if the number is "2" it will be in a box / barrel. if the number is "0" it will be free for the scenario just the player just needs to take it. ETS > ETS is the enemy ID that is defined by the tool Bio_ELS_EDIT see that in the Bio_ELS_EDIT tool there is a GREEN square, indicating the ID of a certain enemy (23 00 = crow) and in the Bio_ITA_EDIT tool there is another GREEN square, number "16" which following the Bio_ELS_EDIT tool is an enemy number.ITEM - 87 = SPINEL Rnd - ITEM FIXED In - "0" ITEM WILL APPEAR AFTER DEFEAT THE ENEMY ETS - "16" ENEMY ID I'll give another example: ITEM - 42 = Killer 7 Rnd - 0 = Fixed item In - 1 = It will only appear when you defeat the enemy ETS - "15" ENEMY ID

Good tutorial, but you forgot to explain something. Since the ITA points to ETS ID for both enemies and ETM models, we have to make sure that the enemy ID we are using is not in conflict with the ETS ID.
For example, if the ETS ID is used by a barrel or box by the ITA, and we use this same ID for any enemy in the ITA then the item will not appear. To fix this, we need to edit the ETS ID in the ITA and the ETS file.

Hi,i want to an enemy to drop pistol ammo,but how do i chose how many bullets it will drop? A video tutorial was created by WiLL Modder on how to change the quantity of items and their appearance To have the best understanding of the modification it is necessary to understand the basics.
1° how to use the datextract / repack /
2° where is the location of the ita files
3° list of room names and item ID
4° how to use the cheat engine to obtain the coordinates
5° the relationship between hexadecimal and decimal numbers
Explanation1 and 2 are whether these items will appear infinitely and need to be exactly the same (0A 00) (will only disappear when you change scenery) 3 - Ammunition quantity - Example: 10 pistol ammunition for 50 * in the image is the number 32 is a hexadecimal number which in decimal is 50 * 4 - Aura of the item / light it reflects 5 - Define which item appears on the stage * image shows 04, which is the pistol ammunition code * 6 - Item coordinates Another tutorial made by Karnie on how to make the modifications!Hope this helps! I think im doing something wrong with datextract since i dont have a .ita file,the process i did was: 1-extract the st1.dat with the GCA 2-using the datextract on r100.dat,i got a r100 folder with the file r100.index3-i opened it with HXD Ill take a look at the video you posted and ill let you know the result. sorry for being ignorant about it but as i said im getting into modding,i also made a thread on how was i supposed to edit that,but since you are helping me here i will delete it. EDIT: the process ive done its the same in the video but he gets a bunch of files when using the datextract on r100.dat while i only get 1 wich is r100.index

What version of your java? if you are using a different version, use this version to see if it solved your problem JAVA VERSION FOR TOOLS
EDIT: Remove any other existing installed version of java before installing this one, and never update it to the new version

Use the Son of Persia version DAT Tool, it does not need a specific version of java, and it is simpler and more practical to use.

Use the Son of Persia version DAT Tool, it does not need a specific version of java, and it is simpler and more practical to use.
Good call, but one thing to note about this tool is that it will open the room .DAT files (rxxx.DAT) but.... It will not open the main Stxx.DAT files as the headers are different I think. Cheers
