Hey curious can you ask if chanhing the fire textures have any effects? Ive been placeing better fire textures wich look better havent noticed anything different but like with the film grain ull never know 🤔 Well I can say yes, of course it would change the way fire looks! XD I'll spend some time later this week getting a little tut ready for you. Happy MOdding!

I think the fire is relatively safe and is used by only actual fires with the exception that there are 2 candles in the game that actually use bonfire textures instead of a single flame (r113 and r225). Not 100 on this, but albert would know for sure. I had some fun changing the texture IDs for smoke in an experiment: Happy Modding!

Assignment Ada crashes for me now, just using the no grain mod. Uninstalled and Assignment Ada works fine. Separate Ways works though.

Oh also, it's messed up my ps4 button pack since one of those files is 07000000, not sure if there's a way around that That's the problem with making mods of 0700000.pack file. The mod creators will need to create different versions for the button packs. I have had to do this for my upcoming Resident Evil REmix mod which has a modified 0700000.pack file. You can do it yourself, or request the original author to create button mod support. Happy MOdding!

how do you do this? when i add it to the imagepackHD, when i try to play the game it just crashes.

this might be due to brightness settings i even like the no film grain look better at least with my setup... if you look closely the film grain ruins the effects and overall texture quality aswell...So very interesting guess it all just depends on your setup but as i said before the differences arnt that major so i would say download this mod if you please shoot i get a better experience not having the film grain for hours of gameplay and having crisper textures versus just a couple less bloom effects on random areas you probably wont spend even 2 mins in or actually notice the effects lol in my case i call this a win
