name: Crossbow replaces Sparkshot and/or grenadelauncher by: JTeghius Kittius v:1.0 description: Simple mod: replaces the Sparkshot with the RE6 crossbow, the trigger is animated and the arrow *should* disappear when the clip is empty. weapon supports getting the upgrade too. icon in inventory wasn't updated. screenshots: Sparkshot version:     Grenade launcher no stock:  with stock upgrade:  known bugs: - stock may clip through character arm when aiming - front part might clip through the wall where weapon is found and possibly through character when on character's back - some parts may be too dark or too shiney there's no bow-like animation in the game so I couldn't make it look like it fires the arrow, or "reload" it correctly sadly. don't reupload my mods without permission download sparkshot: DOWNLOADdownload grenadelauncher: DOWNLOADrequires mod manager to install: linkif there's any issues besides the one(s) mentionned let me know~

Dayum this is cool!!! Thank you so much <3 I much prefer the bowgun over the sparkshot and would rather have had the former back so thank you for making this Plus, it's really cool to see the bowgun deliver shock damage lol

Amazing, the crossbow in RE2 was one of my favorite weapons too bad it was left out of the remake. Thanks to you I can use it again, too bad it's still a shock needle, but I guess the projectile animation is hard-coded into the weapon itself. Will definitely be using this on my streams! Thanks for making the crossbow Glad you like it. Also I have to be honest. I made the damn thing but hadn't even tested to put it on a characters back. It's so freaking big. lmao

_____YE-E-EE-EAH! I just had to wrap my HEAD with some METAL STRAPS to keep it from EXPLODING! Saw it. Downloaded it. Trying to keep Vampire Girl from taking over the family computer before I can INSTALL this thing! Heck yeah, gosh-darned CROSSBOW ARSENAL is happening and happening NOW! _____Know what ELSE this means? It means...we get to spend more quality time with your quality mods! The problem with the sparkshot was, you only get it... What? Second half of the game? Since the G-Launcher is there soon enough, we get to KICK MORE ASS with your crossbows for more of the game! Gonna see if I can upload a picture of this with my current Frankenstein-modded character. THANKS TIMES A BILLION, DUDE! Darn it! Can you stop blinkin' for ONE SECOND!  Better...  No. You are NOT Ninja. (Don't even try it.)  PLEASE don't let Michael Bay direct the next Resident Evil movie!

This may be a stupid question... prepare yourself:

I'm wondering if it's possible to make this without the... bow. I'm not sure if you directly modeled this or it was swapped from some other source, but if modeled is it possible (and reasonably easy) to remove the bow and string leaving just the body? (It just sticks through the body on certain models I use)
If not, or if that's unreasonably difficult as it seems it would be, can you make a black carbon fiber texture for the standard spark shot? Just the whole thing black.
If not, can I swap the model of a particular weapon over a different weapon without using modding tools? I have a benelli shotgun modded over the w870 that I downloaded from a different site. I would love to use that model over the sparkshot but I'm dumb and don't know how to do anything at all.

this looks sooo good, you did a nice job.
Now i wonder, do you think something like this could work in RE5 too?
Maybe over the bow (with changed animations)
Or also over the Grenade launcher?
