I found a weapon mod i really like...replaces Leon's starting pistol. I don't use that anymore, only the Samurai Edge Original Model (Infinite Handgun), so I'm wondering how difficult would it be to change the mod so it replaces that instead? What would I need to do?

you can change any item you like with cheat engine, just download it here, install it then download the latest re2remake cheat table here its called re2.ct, then double click that ct file (now recognized as a cheat engine file) it will open cheat engine with the table loaded. Now run the game in background (preferably windowed mode) then in the cheat engine window click the colorful computer icon, then select re2.exe to hook cheat engine with the game (press yes if asked to keep the list), now load any game then highlight any item with your mouse (a weapon for example), alt tab to cheat engine and at the bottom click enable this will open bunch of useful cheats, click highlighted item, now if everything goes well you should see item id corresponds to the item you selected in game in the value column, if it show "??" then try selecting another item. now you can get any item you want, if you need a weapon you select "-is weapon" then select the weapon you want, select the ammo type of that weapon then put it in an itembox then take it back or otherwire the gun would not be equipped properly, now you can save your game and that weapon will be with you forever. you might need to get yourself some ammo before saving, or use one of these mods: www.nexusmods.com/residentevil22019/mods/182www.nexusmods.com/residentevil22019/mods/151www.nexusmods.com/residentevil22019/mods/133
