Is it possible to change weapon characteristics in RE 4?

For example, change the magnum power to your value.

Can I change the price of items from the merchant?

As far as I understand this data is stored in bio4.exe, it even seems that a person with the nickname infernal could edit some of these parameters.

I will be grateful for any information on how to do this.

Ahhh yes, the Master Infernal...He used cheat engine (and other programs), to monitor values from the exe stored in memory. You can basically change a value in game (say by upgrading your weapon normally) and then see what changed in memory right after using a program like cheat engine.

As for the prices of weapons that might be harder. For example you could search the exe for all values of 65500 in Hex which is FFDC but there seems to be dozens of these strings so find the right one would require some patience.

There might be another way that is more effective but I do not have a lot of experience in memory editing.
