I didn't know where to post this so feel free move the thread if it's not the most appropriate place. I've noticed that Claire's face looks slightly different in one of the "Models" available in the "Extras". The model where Claire is holding Sherry in her arms seems to use a different face than the one we actually see while playing. Look at her face here, especially the mouth: Gameplay + most "Models"

How come is her face different? Can it be used in-game as well? The model looks an awful lot like the one we could see in the promotional pictures released at Gamescom 2018 btw:

They all use the same head file.

Each model in the model viewer has somewhat different facial animations so when paused will appear different compared to others when it's the same model. Notice in the left she has a smirk going on while on the right she's just concerned and deep in thought. Lighting plays a minor part in that aspect as well...

Thank you both for your answer! Crazy Potato you're right, this is mostly an animation thing! I've just replayed and analysed the part where you carry Sherry after the fight against G2 and Claire appears to be smiling (what a sadist!) while in the "Models" menu she has a static face (no blinking nor mouth mouvement). Note that she won't have that weird smirk whenever she's in "caution" and "danger" status. I guess Capcom took the screenshots they shared at Gamescom before incorporating facial animations. Mystery solved, thanks again !
