Introduction:
Like last time, the same two guys Talos91 & PoundlandBacon made it possible to play up to 6 players splitscreen on one PC! Using the same app NucleusCoop that allows multiple instances to connect via LAN & Goldberg Emulator to bypass steam check & LAN config!
Original Thread: Reddit
Remember this is in Work-in-progress! Any bugs can occur if there's any, if there is, please report it here!
Credits goes to the guys that made this script, I just do the write up here to let you guys know about this!
Links are all provided if you want to check the mentioned apps or emulator etc.
Incompatibilities:
-ENBs/Reshades (Causes instances not to open)
-Raz0r's Trainer (Doesn't detect game instances, can't open multiple same trainer and needs steam check)
Notes/Known Problems:
-Does not use your STEAM save data, it creates a new save data (for each player) which will not alter or change your Steam save, but backup just in case. The save data gets deleted once the game closes but there's a workaround below.
-Mods do work! Recommend using Fluffy's Mod Manager!
-Screen can be VERY stretched depending on the splitscreen position (which you can manually configure).
-Adding custom resolution to make 16:9 ratio for splitscreen causes game to have Error 09: Unsupported Function (suppose to help with the game being stretched, usually happens with some cutscenes).
-Only requires 1 PC, with decent CPU & GPU to handle multiple game instances, wouldn't recommend changing graphics setting while in splitscreen, change it via config.ini or if you're playing solo.
-Should work with multiple monitors.
-Recommend using controllers as KB controls all instances.
-Only works with 16:9 screens I believe.
-Rumble doesn't seem to work yet...?
-To change any player name in nucleuscoop folder go to games/Residentevil6 and edit the file account name with notepad inside the P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6 folders.
-PS4/PS3 controllers works once you emulated them into xInput. See workarounds below!

[REQUIRED FOR 6 PLAYERS] -To enable controllers for 5P & 6P, you need to edit residentevil6.js to enable by changing this line to true xinput.reroute = false.
Preparations:
Couple of things you should do beforehand! (To wash the chance of getting issues.)
1. Make sure the game is completely VANILLA, disable any mods!
2. Remove any ENB and/or Reshade.
3. OPTIONAL - Reinstall Resident Evil 5 through Steam. - Only if you haven't used mod manager to manage your mods and directly installed mods through file replacements.
Once done, install all the mods again, exclude ENB/RESHADE!
Instructions (Inc. Pictures/GIFs) [NOTE!!!!! Will use RE5 Gifs temporarily, same steps but different game.]:
1. Download NucleusCoop Alpha 8 Zip File from here! At the bottom of the page: NucleusCoop Modded [Github]
2. Extract the ZIP File contents to the desktop in a folder.
3. Open NucleusCoop and click on Download Game Scripts
4. Either type Resident Evil 6 on the search bar or view all scripts and find RE6 script manually.
5. Highlight the first RE6 script and click download.
6. Once downloaded, you'll see this popup. Click Yes and find the game executable which is usually located at C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/RESIDENT EVIL 6
7. Once that's done, you should have RE6 added to the left pane, click it and connect your controllers (they should be labelled with numbers) to your PC.
8. Below the controller icons, you can see like a small little box in a big rectangle, click on it to change the positioning/orientation and/or the amount of players you want to put. Then click and drop the controller number depending on which controller will controller which instance. (Might be a bit buggy with dragging and dropping.)
-Click the right arrow at the top right of the app then click play, wait then for the app to force focus all instances and position them perfectly. (Again it will be very stretched but there isn't a way to fix this as the game doesn't work with the known workaround).
Workarounds:
PS3/PS4 Controller Support:
Thanks to DarkSamus for confirming this on RE5 thread, it is possible to use your DS3 and DS4 controllers. You can use x360ce or DS4Windows!
DS4Windows
x360ce
Download DarkSamus' PS button mod! : PS3/PS4 Button Mod

Save data's being deleted once the game closed!?:
Just force end nucleuscoop using Task Manager, don't close the game first. The files will still be there, but you have to do this everytime!
Was bit of rush to get this out, this thread will be edited heavily to match with the same formatting as RE5 ASAP.
