Is it possible to mod the game so it’s possible to leave NEST and return to the sewers?
While having the animations play would be nice, it’s not necessary. What would this entail? What could go wrong?
The reason I’m asking is: making a return trip possible would open the door for Benn’s RANDOMIZER to be even more complex....and therefore fun.
Right now the item pool for NEST has to be separated from the rest of the game.
My next questions:: can DLC enemies be added to the main campaign? Can existing enemies be given different properties? Poison dogs/lickers?
The replay value would skyrocket.

I also think for Benn's randomizer to be worth while an extensive mod needs to be made for it. Like you said you need to be able to return to the RPD from NEST, but also cutscene triggers need to be disabled/modified because if you go out of order you often run into an infinite loading screen. I think it would be great too if Leon could get to Claire exclusive rooms (with the heart key and also opening the door in the garage to the chief's private elevator) and vice versa. If I had it my way I would also remove Ada and Sherry's playable sections since they don't add anything to a randomizer as well as the opening at the gas station.

Yes to all of that. I don’t have the programming knowledge to pull that off, but I’d gladly contribute funds to whoever can. I’m certain I’m not the only one.
