Would this work even if I download the main soundtrack version of Mr. X Gon' Give it to ya mod? Hey, Yep, if you install "X gon give it to ya" mod ORIGINAL ost version, the main ost files will not conflict and two mods will coexist together. I think it worth trying anyway. Just don't forget to switch soundtracks in options. Is there anyway for you to include this song on your mod?
This is a nother original track that should be on remake. But they uses another theme for Ada...

thank you for you response, I will check this out. would you be interested in doing a MOD together? i have songs i want us to put together in a compilation that will accompany a player from start to finish because the remake soundtrack sucks and the MODs that we have like yours are only one song (thank you by the way for your work on this MOD, great addition), but I want to make a MOD where we bring back old nostalgic songs and add new ones but good ones. would that interest you?

I could try. Can you share the video with the cutscene/location where you want to replace the music into original game? Because i do not really remember now Sure,
First cutscene beggining at 5:53:20
The second at 5:57:50
Based on original game, those cutscene are the right one to have Ada's Theme, because when she is dying there are other 2 songs that are those two here:
Here is Remake confrontation and death cutscene beggining at 7:38:08
I know that those cutscenes had the same songs both for remake OST and Original OST, so, probably you would need to change remake soundtrack file (the same file from the famous Mr. X Theme), instead of DLC file.
If only you could put Ada's theme at the first cutscene that would be awesome since her theme is kind of famous and was also honored at the end of Leon's Campaign at Resident Evil 6 for a brief momment when Ada sends a SMS to Leon from the helicopter.
Don't know why capcom changed that.

Actually, yeah. I would gladly help, but currently i preoccupied with my events - work and study projects. So i going to need more information - which tracks you want to replace, and with what. Don't know why capcom changed that. Did not really heard any tracks at 1st cutscene...at 2nd cutscene i hear it. Interesting. Is there a prescribed track for that cutscene in Original soundtrack mod? If there is, it would be easy to replace it. Find me those tracks, which plays at 1st and 2nd cutscenes

Love this. solidjenner, if you ever come back, please consider trying to extend the re2r save theme, the only way might be adding it to the soundtrack swap but idk. I heard others were working on it a while back but apparently they abandoned it.

Could you make an updated version of this? The dlc files are now just standalone pak files with no folders, so this doesn't work on the current version anymore.
