Real Weapon NamesThis mod does exactly that.
Changes the weapons in game text to be the real life names.
I'll give a few screenshot examples below.
Samurai Edges aren't changed, I know they're M92FS Handguns, but I felt like they should be kept the same since there custom made by Kendo.
If people care enough I could make a version which changes them.
It supports most languages, but mainly english. (doesn't support Russian, Chinese, Japanese)

Here are a list of changes:
- Matilda changed to H&K VP70
- SLS 60 changed to S&W Model 649
- JMP Hp3 changed to Browning Hi-Power
- MUP changed to H&K USP
- Broom Hc changed to Mauser HSc
- M19 changed to M1911
- Quickdraw Army changed to Colt Single Action Army
- W-870 changed to Remington 870
- MQ 11 changed to MAC-11
- LE 5 changed to H&K MP5
- GM 79 changed to M79
- Lighting Hawk changed to Desert Eagle
- ATM-4 changed to AT4
- Anti-Tank Rocket changed to M202 FLASH
- Minigun changed to M134 Minigun
- Flash Grenade changed to M84 Flashbang
- Flash Grenade had a texture on it with the wrong model name, I removed the text
- Frag Grenade changed to M26 Frag Grenade

The mod is conflicting with jimmyandresrg's Reshade or vignette removal in some weird way. When I have your mod enabled, the game window is just a black screen, it never loads up. Is it not compatible with the no vignette exe?

Is it not compatible with the no vignette exe? I have no idea how those mods work I'm afraid. This mod edits text files the game reads for text in game and the texture edit on the flashbang.

This mod keeps crashing and the game won't start when this mod is installed. I'm using fluffy mod manager. Tried leaving the mod as a .rar and the game just goes black on startup and won't start. Tried extracting the .rar and same thing game stays black on startup. Please fix

After some talk with people on the modding discord we might know the issue with the black screen on boot.
Its not an issue with the mod but something you guys need to do with the mod manager:
Firstly uninstall all mods you have installed
Go to the RE2 Directory (the install location) and delete the natives folder if you have one
Next you should update your mod manager
Now reinstall the mod
