I'm having the same problem. The animations now work (yay! though only after starting a new game), cutscene voice is fine, grunting and heavy breathing and random exclamations (that don't have subtitles) work fine but in game, subtitled dialogue is silent. (Don't know about zombie attacks or being bit I'm using the braindead zombies mod.)

I fixed that and tagged you on discord. download the no sound fix version for the april update, again this april update fix was done by MaVeRicK: no sounds fix

Can you make a new Version? RE2 gots Updated Again and now the Game Stucks in infinity Load Screen whit this Installed.
I dont like Claires Animations ^^

Can you make a new Version? RE2 gots Updated Again and now the Game Stucks in infinity Load Screen whit this Installed. I dont like Claires Animations ^^ It broke again?! GAH! I'll try and get it fixed soon

Hiya, just wondering if you've found time to update this? Seems like the game pushed out updates in rapid succession but now it's calmed down and I'd really like this as a stand alone mod! I'm not a modder, otherwise I'd offer to help figure it out and fix it.

Hiya, just wondering if you've found time to update this? Seems like the game pushed out updates in rapid succession but now it's calmed down and I'd really like this as a stand alone mod! I'm not a modder, otherwise I'd offer to help figure it out and fix it. it's broken again? I'm a bit confused. either I'm not getting the same updates (or no updates at all) or something else is going on. the mod never broke on my end not even with the original updates (like the April 24th one). I'm not really sure how I'd go about fixing this issue right now...

Nothing's broken again. I run the official steam version with all updates as of now - and the latest provided April 24th fix still does what it should do. maybe different regions got different patches. I really don't know. like I said not even the april 24th update broke the mod for me when it did for a lot of others.

Ah! Hah. Honestly, I read through the thread and I must have misunderstood. >_> I apologize, I thought you had yet to try to patch it for the last update! I found your mod on Nexus so when it didn't work there I went looking for any help from people off site due to the posts there. I'll give it a shot-and if it doesn't work, I'll stop pestering ya! I really do appreciate all the hard work you put into it!
