Capcom didn't put my favorite theme in the game... Ada's theme. Could someone create a mod that adds it to one or two of her scenes (for the soundtrack swap)? Like the kissing scene or when leon first meets her

Completely agree, It felt so wrong that this was not part of the OST swap (something we had to pay extra for).
I love this theme so much, I played it before leaving for work today.

I honestly thought this would be the theme that would play when Leon and Ada were in the cable car for the OST swap.
Even RE6 paid tribute to this theme. This should have been on the Classic Swap.

I was talking to nsnake last month (who made the Modernized Classic OST with looping RE2R save room theme residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/12394/modernized-classic-re2r-theme-looped)and where the track could be inserted and he said maybe someday he would look into it.
I already use his mod for a nice blend of new and classic soundtrack which also includes the "Nothing more to Do Here" music, so Ada's theme added on top of all that would be the icing on the cake.
The only place would be where Ada first appears, since that seems to be the only time the classic ost plays when Ada is around. (I don't think you can replace the remake's music, which is still around to fill in the gaps even with the classic ost enabled)

Hi, damn is good idea. So far for RE2R, i was on sound system, when and how sfx's works for game and spend tons of hours to make old re2 sounds to sound normally on RE engine as possible. Digging in to RE2R sounds with those echos, what sound when triggers take most of time time. Tried also environmental map sounds, character and cutscenes sounds, almost not touched music stuff.
Just one thing with this specific music track:
Playing with "Remake OST" - meet Ada, cable car Ada uses files from "remake ost" sound bank.
Playing with "1998 OST" - meet Ada uses file from "1998 ost", cable car Ada uses file from "remake ost".
1998 OST sound bank - is all 1998 tracks (no files included from "remake"). So no swap, it needs to be changed from "remake OST", and will be that track for any of those ost's. At some time maybe i'm gonna try.

Actually, Ada cable car track in music sound bank was unused in game, also not in "i miss her" at the end (maybe Claire scenario using?!..). But found in cutscene files, sad.. is those complicated/problematic sound banks with additional "encrypted' data on .wem file. But clever way maybe we can insert music in this scene, from few small tests i can say - 100% music gonna work, just need find best place fit in files.
