I dropped the arc files @ the specified folder and it worked. This mod is awesome.
Thank you FluffyQuack and Reikaz for your help.

I'm having the exact problem. I havent bought the game on steam. I have followed all the same steps but the mods aren't working. However I should mention that the DMC 5 steam version that I own works perfectly and i successfully installed multiple mods onto that game. It's just RE2R cracked codex version that isnt responding to any of the mods. Maybe it's somehow related to the cracked version of RE2, and if so, I'm not going out of my way to troubleshoot that. I'm making and testing the mod manager with legit copies of the supported games.

Hey fluffy, im new into Modding and i have zero idea of how to work with this modmanager. I installed three mods, Showstopper Claire on her Elza skin, Jill skin on Claire Noir and a Solid Snake skin on Leon Sheriff. once i extracted them over the manager open, and launched the game to try see if they worked, once i open the manager again they disappear. If anybody could help me understand how this manager works i would be very thankful because i always loved modding games when i was a kid and now i lost my ways, Much love, Gabey

But the process should be straightforward: unpack mod manager anywhere, run it, drag'n'drop mods in RAR format onto the mod manager, and then install them.

I'm making this post as a general troubleshooting guide for common problems. Q: I'm getting error messages related to copying files or opening files for writing.A: Try running the mod manager as administrator. Q: Modmanager.rar or modmanager.exe gets deleted before I can run it. Or the mod manager doesn't start. Or it never loads screenshot previews. Or it fails to install mods.A: This is likely due to anti-virus (for instance, Windows Defender) flagging the mod manager as a false positive. Add the mod manager to the anti-virus' whitelist or temporarily turn off your anti-virus. Q: The "Launch game" button doesn't work!A: If it doesn't work, just launch the game manually. The button is only there for convenience. Q: I'm getting an error message similar to "Can't open PAK file for file invalidation."A: Go to your game install and make sure none of the PAK files are set to "read-only" when you right click them and choose properties. Q: The "Mod list" button is grayed out.A: That means the mod manager failed to automatically find your game install. Click on "Define game path" to manually choose where the game is installed. Q: I get a warning message about PAK files being too small.A: Make sure all mods are uninstalled, then go to your game install, delete any PAK files with the size 0, and then click on "re-read game archives" in the mod manager. Q: I installed an RE2 mod but I get an infinite loading screen ingame.A: This is most likely a problem with the mod. Some RE2 patches have made older mods incompatible. Q: The game got patched while I had mods installed. What should I do?A: To ensure everything is non-corrupted, do this in the following order: uninstall all mods, right click the game on Steam and choose "verify file integrity", and after that click on "re-read game archives" in the mod manager. Q: The game got patched but I didn't have any mods installed. Should I do anything?A: Just one thing, click on "re-read game archives" in the mod manager. Q: Whenever I try to install mods the mod manager claims the game is running, but it's not running.A: Quit the mod manager and add this line to config.cfg: "CheckIfGameIsRunningForModInstalls: 0" Q: I can't install mods anymore, but they used to work!A: If all of the above solutions don't apply, try making sure your game install is clean: uninstall all mods, right click the game on Steam and choose "verify file integrity", and after that click on "re-read game archives" in the mod manager. Q: I'm playing using a pirated version and I can't install mods!A: I have no idea if my mod manager works with pirated versions of games and I'm not going out of my way to add that kind of support. Q: No matter what I do, I can't get Fluffy Manager 5000 to even run.A: If the mod manager fails to even start up, you can try earlier versions to see if they give you better luck. I have a selection of them available here: www.nexusmods.com/residentevil22019/mods/119?tab=filesQ: No version of Fluffy Manager 5000 runs for me.A: If you find no way to even run the mod manager, you can try this method for installing mods (warning, this is a bit fiddly and very limited in functionality): residentevilmodding.boards.net/post/117636When I try to use Vortex to insall Flffy 5000, it says, "Missing filepaths in game archives". I checked the FAQ and can't find anything about this. Do I need to move something over? i can't seem to figure out what I'm missing.

You use one of them to install mods for RE Engine games. I haven't been up to date with Vortex, so I have no idea if that supports RE3 yet.

Uploaded new version of Fluffy Manager: fluffyquack.com/tools/modmanager.zipMore information about the update: www.patreon.com/posts/36950527The primary change is that you can now bundle multiple mods into the same RAR file. I recommend everyone upgrade so they know future mods will work (if you use bundled mods in an old version, then the mod manager will only detect one of the mods in the bundle, not all). And as you might have noticed, I have a Patreon now! I'm not planning on making any mods or tools exclusive to the Patreon, so it's just a way to show your support if you found my mods, modding tools, or videos useful. I'll be using my Patreon page as a way to write detailed updates to modding tool releases, so I suggest following it if you want to stay up-to-date on modding tool updates (these posts will always be free posts).
