Uploaded new version of the mod manager: fluffyquack.com/tools/modmanager.rarChange log: - SC6: Updated the trainer to support "AI difficulty change" and changing of controller IDs with v2.00 of the game (also works with v2.02, and hopefully future versions). - SC6: Updated the music part of the trainer to include SC4, Broken Destiny, and SC5 soundtracks. - Improved display of warning when a game is patched while mods are installed. - RE2: Updated trainer to work with the latest patch. - Made mod installs using RE Engine games to correctly check against both hashes of each file entry in PAK files. Earlier versions only compared against one hash which prevented 2 files from being modable in DMC5. - Added "Download Mods" button with some direct mod downloads and some links to popular mod sites. (Since mods can be directly downloaded via the mod manager, I've removed the mods which were bundled with the mod manager.) - Added Resident Evil 3 support in the mod manager! This is a pretty big update to the mod manager. The biggest changes being that you can downlaod certain mods directly from the mod manager (if anyone wants their mods available this way, send me a private message), and I've added RE3 support meaning I added the infamous water sample puzzle as part of the mod manager.

If people want something to fiddle with while waiting for RE3, I remade the series' most infamous puzzle within the mod manager: Download link: fluffyquack.com/WIP/modmanager.rarMore information: Fluffy, you sweet little bastard. I love and hate you! lmao Thanks for this. Gonna practice on this so I'm ready when I go back to playing classic RE3 lol The last time I did that water puzzle, it took me about over half an hour XD

I'd like some feedback on a possible change to the mod manager: fluffyquack.com/WIP/modmanager.rarDownload that version and turn off "one click for mod installs" in the options. Then try clicking on mods in your mod list. Is that better than having the mod previews automatically appear? Pros with the new system: - Never any stutter as you cycle through the mod list. - Not possible to accidentally highlight the wrong mod when you try to zoom in on the mod preview screenshot or click the delete button. Cons with the new system: - User needs to do a bunch of clicking when previewing many mods quickly. I'm personally leaning towards the new system, but I'd like to hear feedback before I fully implement it.

I prefer it to have my mods previewed.

I prefer it to have my mods previewed. Did you try the new system? You can still preview the mods, it's just that the UI is more akin to most programs where it's one click to select a mod rather it being auto-selected with a hover.

FluffyQuack for troubleshooting "Q: No version of Fluffy Manager 5000 runs for me.". Not sure it helps for others, but helped for me! Not making any sense, but helped - deleting all files in "Backup" folders from every game. Before that, i tried many versions (i could find) and many things relating to this problem (manager, PC stuffs and etc.). Problem was - opening only black screen (window, named "Project") and just closes after 1-3 seconds. After deleting Backup files working (of course was tons of files)! P.S. Only one change i notice, not every game now have wallpaper (only black background). Also, when manager not working, last line at log was "Loaded textures", now log is with full initialisation. Could also be something about "Wallpapers.pkg"?!

I'm pretty sure my mod manager never scans through the backups directory, so I don't see how their size would affect anything. And unless wallpapers.pkg is corrupt, that should work just fine. Were you using the latest version of the mod manager?

Probably also helped some things i changed/added in system, just kinda strange why deleting backup files ended up working. And strange why some games not showing wallpapers, even definitely "Wallpapers.pkg" is ok.

Not every game has a wallpaper in wallpapers.pkg (I try to ensure the mod manager download isn't very big, so I only keep wallpapers for the most popular games). For instance, RE1, RE0, Revelations 1, and Revelations 2 have no wallpaper. If you ever find a way to reproduce the whole "backups" problem, let me know.

There are many mods for RE games (except for RE2) which aren't structured correctly for the mod manager. One part of the video in the first post has an example showing how the mod should be structured.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, i really appreciate your help.
I went back to the video in the first post and i thought that perhaps i needed to extract the files and then drop the entire extracted folder in the modmanager > games > REV2 > mods, but same results. Then i noticed from your video that in some cases there need to be an extra folder inside the mods folder: nativePC. The wetsuit rar does not include this folder, it only has 4 ARC files:
uPl2200.arc uPl2200Head.arc uPl2210.arc uPl2210Head.arc
I manually created the nativePC folder and droped the files there, but same results: Modmanager tells me the mods have been successfully installed but when i start the game, no Jessica.
Hopefully you could help me find the way to install this amazing mod
Thank you!

You could download another Rev 2 mod and see if that shows the full structure. It should be something along the lines of this: nativePC\DX9\arc

luiss for Rev2 is "nativePCNext\arc\DX9NEXT" is folder for main arc's and Episode 1. But in campaign (first at Ep 3) Claire's model gonna change back to original (cause now model changes from "dat\DLC_EPISODE_03\arc", "dat\DLC_EPISODE_04\arc"). I bet this mod works for Raid mode and Campaign Ep 1-2 (changes to original look in Ep 3 at some point).

Hi FluffyQuack, and first thank you for your work. I'm struggling to make the manager scan the mods folder, extracted modmanager.rar into a folder called modmanager which I placed within my re2r folder. Told modmanager where the game was located but nothing shows up in the modlist, not even the default "Alternate Rebecca Photo" that I left untouched in its folder (modmanager\Games\RE2R\Mods\Alternate Rebecca Photo.rar). Followed those simple enough instructions : I also followed this whole boobs tutorial, still nothing. Mods folder contains alltogether : zips rars & 7zs, does this makes any difference ? Maybe it's worth noting that every-time I launch MM it asks for the gamepath (even with admin level) and also that my gamepaths contains underscores, and also that I can't see that ArchiveList.bin presumably loaded in the RE2R folder nor the path saved in config.cfg. Also tried the modmanager at the root of a drive with the same results. What's wrong ? Basic specs, w7x64. Re-readed the thread, you said page2 that the manager's not supporting special characters, if that's what is preventing it to work on my end (is underscore a special character ?), I'd be very much happy if you could find a fix 'cause I have all my games organized like so, it'd be very messy to have that single game elsewhere I'm trying different things, but I can't replicate this problem. What's the install path for your game? Is it what's shown in the images? About special character, I'm thinking of characters from other languages which is something I haven't tested thoroughly, but "_" should be fine. I tried to have the mod manager in the same place you have it, and it's working fine for me. The fact it has to re-find the install path for RE2 each time you start mod manager makes it sound like it's not able to read the config.cfg it's creating, which is very strange as it's obviously able to read other files (otherwise it wouldn't start). Edit: Mods can only be in RAR files (or they can be unpacked form in their own directory), though other files should be ignored rather than lead to problems. You could try what alduin041492 suggested and have a mod in the game's install directory, but that's something which should not work, my mod manager only tries to load mods from Games\RE2R\Mods\ I'm having the exact problem. I havent bought the game on steam. I have followed all the same steps but the mods aren't working. However I should mention that the DMC 5 steam version that I own works perfectly and i successfully installed multiple mods onto that game. It's just RE2R cracked codex version that isnt responding to any of the mods.
