Hey guys not really modding question per say but I figure this is this best place to ask.
Is anyone familiar with how DA affects enemy behaviour in a more in-depth way?
Also how to find DA on CE? The value seems so off I can never find which memory address it's sitting in.

The value seems so off I can never find which memory address it's sitting in. I know a bit about modding enemies but have not taken the time yet to make a list of their behaviours. I know we can make them do different things like fall when shot, run away when seen, run straight for player, freeze, disappear etc (there's many different types) I'm not sure what your DA and CE are referring to? Are these values in the .esl file you are editing ? Cheers

Apologies DA is difficulty adjustment and it was found by someone I'm not sure by who exactly. If that doesn't help then I'll elaborate again.
CE = cheatengine lol

Ok great. Thanks for teaching me this. I would imagine that that the there is a multiplier for enemy health in the exe. Perhaps you could see if the DA is stored in the savedata.sav file after a new game is started. I'm pretty sure it would have to be to preserve the DA settings. Its proabably only one byte.
To identify which byte this is you could try this:
Backup and delete your savegame.sav file. Open the r100.dat file and find all the SAT files. Open them in in a hex editor and replace all the bytes with 00. Save them and repack the DAT files. ( if this part of the process is too much work or doesn't seem to work you could always try using the trainer to disable collision … But I think the method of editing the DAT files would be more effective as nothing else is affected) Next, Launch the game. The game will now ask for you to create new save file since your old one has been deleted. Create the New file and start a new game on DIFFICULT setting
Now that there is no collision data to stop you from walking straight to the typewriter, walk straight to the typewriter and save (without interacting with any enemies or cutscenes. Next, move the newly generated savegame.sav file with this 1 save onto your desktop.
After this shit down the game. Do the same steps as above on EASY setting (without the DAT part as we only need to do this once) and save. The next part is to compare the 2 savegame.sav files Ina hex editor and see what differences you see
I am very interested in seeing the results of this!
Good luck.
