I'm not really sure where to post THIS kind of stuff, so, if its wrong, I'd be thankful for it to be moved to the right place.
I noticed Revelations 1 & 2 Sound files are .XSEW Files, which means that, If renamed to .WAV you can listen to their sound effects like a charm.. I decided to make this Thread to collect all of the Sound Effects of Characters, It might not be useful for Modding RE Games (Only useful for RE4 if i'm not mistaken) But maybe other games like Left 4 Dead or even use in videos! This is still in Work, So for now you might only see from 1 to 2 links.. This thread will only have the English sound Effects, Though, if a character's sound effects in a different language is requested i'll give you a download link with it
You can download the .RAR File by clicking the link & Download at the right corner above ''Details''

The other character audio files, in .SNGW are all Ogg Vorbis for both games. For Revelations 2, I've pre-written a reference guide on what track is what, where they can be found and with the recent decrypter - have included that and a guide on how to decrypt the files out. I haven't bothered to write a batch file for it as of yet though. residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/5694/audio-files-information-listSo if you're going to manually convert things out into a useable format archive for future reference, that ought to be of some assistance.

What about .sngw file in event folder and .sngw files in voice folder can you edit it or at least tell us how to modify .sngw files in event folder?
As i noticed re rev uses 2 channel stereo in compressed lossy format and and the writing library is libvorbis 2007 and 2009. Main format is .ogg

Resident evil relations and rev 2 uses compressed lossy format.
Is there any smart guy to tell us how to edit the event and voice folder which contain .sngw file based on .ogg ?
