I'd prefer they stick to REmake levels of gore rather than go like... full Outlast on us.
Also, "RE2 remake, what do you want it to be?"
A good game.

i think they should add an option for those fans who loves to see more gore honestly i prefer to play it with less violence and gore and also capcom and all companies are looking for a better rating by esrb That makes no sense. Why would you push for 'teen' rating for a game that starts with this warning screen If you want less gore, buy the german version. ohhh i'm sorry, my meant wasn't that i just said my method for playing of course the game and story are about a disaster (and somehow a massacre) and this kind of story must be with gore... i'm just talking about game making process before release because it easily can be an option by just few line codding so if i don't like lot of gore, i will be able to disable it just by one click but others love it with more gore, so they are able to play it that way i usually ignored the enemies if i had choice to ignore (i loved re4 because if you play it with ignoring enemies, you could save your bullets and other stuff for selling those to merchant and earning money for buying vest or case or new weapons or upgrading (also new style for new weapons) ) so it just an extra option by at last 10 line codding and it's not a big deal, is it?

Gore will impact gameplay. Like if I shot off a hand of a zombie, that poor bastard wont be able to grab me then.
So I hope, the gore will be at its gory glory and gameplay primarily focused on gore enabled.
Now, turning off gore can make it hard to do those things. But instead of showing too much gore, just make the hand vanish to make the gameplay same and compatible.
If you know what I mean.

Re remake gore was only im headshot and rest were bullet sponges. Maybe add gore option: Off, Low, High. But having less gore will make it worthless unless its like $15. And ofcourse, minimum gore levels of Re6 would be required to make it feel organic. Just like how I liked House of the dead 1, 2, 3 which felt organic (House of dead 1 had most organic gore) and then 4 completely removed it.

i think they should add a slider (0-100 default on 50) for gore and also a button for color of blood (just an idea)
and if it's not a big request (because we are talking about a 2018 game) , i want to see hairfx in game for characters
it can be cool specially about claire's ponytail (something like lara)

A slider just seems stupid as fuck, and also annoyingly complex to code. It should just be "yes" or "no"
Also hairfx is still definitely a large request atm

Gore: High- like it should be Low - like ReRemake (Too much censored) Off - no gore, probably use password lock so that easily influenced people can't use it.
Hair fx- yes we need it for Leon.
We also need cloth creases simulations like in fifa 16 (Less taxing, looks better than realtine physics). And then havibg simple cloth physics or animations like in Re5/6 on top of that would be enough to make it look 10x better than havok/apex physics with 50x less performance hit.

seda, Ye, that's why I said cloth simulation like in Fifa 16. Remember, its not realtime physics, just some predefined movement of cloth creases which lools better than stupid apex physics. It doesn't eat performance. Maybe you will get 3-5 fps less at max. Most games use a Single normal map for cloth creases. But Fifa uses 8 normal maps and they keep swapping while moving to give a movibg cloth effect. Better than having nothing. Less hassle than Apex physics. Mild performance drop which is very easy to disable. Looks bettrr than apex physics because to make creases move with realtime Physics- the models should be made with lots of ploygon that current pc/consoles cant handle.

Keep the core gameplay and camera the same as the original, don't censor anything to get a lower rating, and alter some puzzles to make them somewhat more complex and\or give veteran players a new challange and add some new areas and storylines that were cut from the original. Basically, they should handle it the same way they handled the first REmake. [minus the bowdlerization of the gore]

There should be one "canon" campaign for each of the characters. Maybe a directors' cut version for those who fancy. I want realistic remakes of the original 90s designs of the characters, not what RE4 and on tried to stamp as their canon looks.
An Ada campgain is bound to be included (events leading up to meeting her at the police station, "death" and comeback and eventually running away from the city).
Also, a Sherry campaign? If it works like Natalia's campaign in Revelations 2 trash it. Don't bombard the game with annoying extra modes but The Mercenaries which could play entirely in third-person over the shoulder perspective.
I think the main game should have fixed cameras and tank controls. Maybe camera should switch to over the shoulder when you aim.
Edit: no TressFX you guys. RE7 uses polygonal alpha mapped hair still. The graphics are going to be very similar to their upcoming release - they glorified the studio they built for scanning assets. I think it's a good clue as to how realistic all the game is going to look. I wonder who they are going to use as face models for their characters.

I honestly hope they don't go too realistic with their designs/faces lest they hop into the Uncanny Valley with all the grace of a leopard bodyslamming a child.
