Revelations (3D) and Merc3D unused content and romdump stuff

hi there peeps,
recently i've been taking a peek into the files of RE: Revelations on 3ds and I've had the files of the mercenarries 3d available to me for quite a while now.
before i get a load of complaints saying i pirated anything, lemme stop you right there:
so with that out of the way, you might be wondering: ok so you have the games... how'd you get the files?
well you see, there's this magical hack application thing on 3ds allowing you to do some cool stuff like bypassing region-locks, and more.
recently that same hack was updated and someone made a tool to dump roms, badabing badaboom, 4 hours later rom dump done.
now before i get into stuff let me stop you right there!
don't even ask me for these rom dump files, as there's no way i will be uploading the files. if you want the character models or something from merc3d, i have already uploaded those models before. and i don't see the need to do so for revelations as they're all the same as the PC version just lower poly.

all the boring stuff is out of the way, let's get to the juicy parts! (ew... gross...)
so there's also this simple model import tool which i have been given to import the 3ds MTF mobile .mod files.
re4 monk from merc3d:
so i've been looking through files and actually made an arc list of the entirity of merc 3d. (couldn't be arsed to do so for rev3d as 99% is the same as revelations on PC.)
in mercenaries 3d there's some minor difference in stuff from revelations like the guy who was in the game instead of Rachael:
"richard" in his beautiful broken/unfinished model glory.
aside from some minor stuff like that Merc3d didn't have anything interesting in terms of unused/unreleased content.

so yeah... merc3d out of the way, let's move on to Resident Evil: Revelations from 3Ds
so like i said this is kind of what you'd expect after having the game on PC aswell. arc files being the exact same things on 3ds as on pc (this really made going through stuff SOOOOOOOOOO much easier)
something that intruiged me was that all the folders for the HD version exclusive characters/costumes almost all were in the 3ds version, which leaves me to believe those characters/costumes were all planned for revelations on 3ds.
with only ONE being the exception here... that being: Playable Rachael ooze. she was the only character whose uPl folder/arc file did not exist on the 3ds game. so yeah even the folders for characters like Lady Hunk, Hunk, playable Rachael, etc. is on the 3ds version.
Let me be clear: their folders exist. not the models. in these folders the only things found were commonly shared files like walking sounds, knife swings, stuff like that. so no actual character models/data exists on the game cartridge. but it is still neat!
but there's more!
because aside from the characters/costumes we got in HD versions there is actual unused content on revelations 3d.
So in revelations HD we got a "new enemy" specifically added to the HD version of the game~! LIKE WOWZERS!
THE WALLBLISTER!
guess what:
NOPE! this baddie was hiding in the files of the 3ds version!
now these next two are enemies from RE5 who both appear in revelations 3D and are probably leftovers from there, but still interesting as they're the only two merc 3d enemies i found models of in the files of revelations.

chainsaw majini
their arc numbers don't match Merc3D though. maybe they were planning to do something like in revelations 2 to have them as throwback enemies or something (or they were just there for debugging reasons and left on the game, this is just guesswork really...)
Now the last one is actually one we hadn't seen before.
so yeah this guy's some sort of zombie. maybe an old model of the one we saw in the original trailer for revelations 1?

kinda hard to tell...
anyway so yeah that's all for the enemies, now onto weapons!
most of the stuff is the same and nothing special. with the exception of three files:
this one's an old familiar thing from the good ol' days of re4
Yep! that's re4's minethrower! in the files of revelations. now this was probably an idea for either merc3d/revelations or it was a debug weapon. whatever it was for it came with model, texture files, the whole shabang! ... except for it's animation .lmt files...
now these next two i have no clue what they are... but they were in the weapon files....
.... keep that in mind
some sweet goggles with some electronics, and before you say it. no these are NOT quints, i compared the models, these look nothing like them...
and then there's.... well this thing:
I don't even know what this is supposed to be....
so yeah that's about what i've found in the files regarding models.
haven't looked into the stage files on the revelations cartridge yet, and don't know if i will to be honest...
one more thing i did find was that in the files there were reference to "money items" similar to how re4 and 5 had money as an item that could be picked up.
what is interesting is that neither revelations nor merc3d have a money system (yes there's raid BP, but there's no physical item for that, except for in HD with the scoring stars for which i did actually also found item references...), so either of the two games might at some point in development have had a money system for upgrades or stuff like that. which could've changed quite a bit how the game would play.
anyway,
i think i have created enough of a wall of text for now,
I will end with saying again: don't even ask me for these rom dump files, as there's no way i will be uploading the files. if you want the character models or something from merc3d, i have already uploaded those models before. and i don't see the need to do so for revelations as they're all the same as the PC version just lower poly.
