Hello everyone just finished this AWESOME GAME that is RER 2 (approx. 33H to finish, nice but......no S rank...anyway it's hard to survive even on Casual!). HDR in this game is awesome, particulary in the prison! Natalia made me get a heart attack and i nearly died of her cuteness :3 (it's rare to play "cute characters" in horror games), Barry is BADASS, Claire is awesome ( nice to see that developers made a natural face which means, not that beautiful and idealized like all "game girl characters" are supposed to be, sexy etc...) and Moira is BADASS (her comments are Epic and funny). Now the "bad" part => ennemies even if they look like awesome tortured souls, cannot be dismembered like in RE6. ( parts of the zombie heads could be blown of 2 times before really exploding etc... Big holes were bored into bodies after gunshots etc...) Is it possible to add such effects on RER 2 or not ? Thanks in advance! Bob

Unfortunately stuff like requires editing of the engine, which modders don't really have a lot of access to. The only realism I can think of that could be done is a blood spatter mod via: Cheat Engine. I'll try looking into when I've got some time on my hands. However, if some modder on here knows how to edit Rev2's ebx's that would actually make it more plausible to make more physics adjustment and add some more realistic gore.

Thanks for the answer Zachilios. If i understand right, CAPCOM would have to put freely at our disposal their source engine, like CRYTEK did it with the Cryengine 3, right? If it is so, then i have my answer. Concerning a blood mod on ennemies it might actually be perfect to match the "gory atmosphere" with a blood splatter mod yes. (in F.3.A.R. those effects are pretty nicely done where, after a gunshot against a foe standing before a wall, the splattered blood actually flows down the wall for a certain time.)
That could be interesting.
Thanks again!
