Dear Modders,
Is there a way to swap Jill's model and textures into Chris's and vice versa? I want to play Chris's game as Jill, and Jill's as Chris. Voices aren't a big issue but I'd love to at least see Jill and Rebecca team up and Chris and Beary as well.

Not sure if this is possible.
You can do this using cheatdiscs for the Playstation 1 version.. I forget which region though, may be the U.S NTSC. You can play as Chris in Jill's storyline, or vice versa - makes some funny cutscenes. Although the sound files and animations are the same as normal.
If we could mod REmake - it would probably mean they would have each others SFX and animations - Jill running like a man and Chris's voice etc.

Am I right in assuming this project would basically start from looking at the current player model files and basically swapping Jill's and Chris's? Default Jill and Chris for sure, but I'd love an option to have RE3 Jill as Chris as well, so I can pair her with RE0 Leather Rebecca. Basically making this a reality:

There is a problem with Jill over top of Chris. If she moves in a certain way the boob physics from her original model collid with Chris' no existent ones. So stuff like this would occur on occasion Chris over Jill would work 100% fine tho. The only other way I can see "Jill" working over Chris is she got re-imported into 3ds max and then rigged to Chris' body.

I'm personally fine with off-model audio, but damn that jittery tittery seems immersion breaking. Mind releasing it so I can try it out?

Sorry haven't been on for a while and getting thru personal things, but let's see if I recall for HD. First - You need the ARCTOOL that sectus has made Second - You need to extract each arc that is located in the REBHDR/NativePC/arc/Pl folder, the arcs you need are Pl00 (Chris) and Pl01 (Jill) Third - Once you have them extracted you will need to swap each of the files around; in this case, Everything inside of model/pl/pl00 you want to delete EXCEPT (pl00.mod, pl00.mrl - this is the model and the file that finds all the textures). When you delete the pl00 files, copy all the files from pl01 and put them in here EXCEPT pl01.mod,pl01.mrl) Fourth - Rename pl01.mod + pl01.mrl to pl00.mod + pl00.mrl Fifth - You will need a hxd editor in order to open the mrl file. HxD is good. After you install, open up the file with HxD -> ctrl + F -> find any instance of pl01 folder and rename it to pl00. EX: model\pl\ pl01\pl01_hairall_NM -> should be renamed to model\pl\ pl00\pl01_hairall_NM You do not want to rename the pl01_hairall because that is the textures, just the folder where it navigates to Sixth - Once you do all that properly, you should be able to repack and test in game. No problem, but really the plan was literally laid out by Kyle. I'm just hoping someone can get the Nemesis Jill model to work as Chris. It keeps crashing bhd.exe either right away or eventually on stairs.

Use MSE to verify the 7zip is clean. To make any textures you want:
