Most of you know me as the guy bitching about the graphics in Revelations 2, so I suppose I'll use this post to show myself in a more positive light.
Since my nick is one letter away from phonetically sounding like my real name you can easily guess what people call me in real life. As far as my history with RE series goes I was onboard form the very first game in the playstation era. RE2 to this day is without a doubt my favourite RE game - I got so much into that game that I memorised (word for word) the entire walkthrough for Leon's A scenario so I could beat it with an A rank in this Arcade-like place (sadly, they didn't have Claire's disc). Also I was 13 back then so go figure. Then I took a break from RE/Console gaming until I bought a PS2 late in it's cycle (the PS3 was common then) so i finally got the chance to play RE4 and Code Veronica (and even Dead Aim). The former I liked very much and the latter shares place with RE3 and RE6 as the most dissapointing of the core series. Saddly I've yet to play any GC and Wii RE games but with release of RE HD on steam I might finally get the chance of playing some of them. As far as the now old-gen RE titles go I found RE5 to be rediculously amazing and RE6 uninspired and boring with only Chris's campaign channeling the wonderful cheesiness of RE5 in some of the cutscenes. Revelations on the other hand was a nice surpise and a sign that there is someone there at Capcom who has ideas how to make RE feel fresh again, with decent atmosphere and without sacrifices to controls and gameplay. Overall I don't dismiss more recent installments for being focused more on action as long as they're good. And to be perfectly honest in my opinion the "classic" gameplay got old by the time RE3 was released, so making the game in 3D with 3rd person camera was the way to go.
As for other games I play PoP- Sands of Time and Dead Space are there with RE2 among my favorites. I have no bias towards any particular genre- as long as it's not a spots or car simulation game I can play them all no problem.
Regarding other stuff you got the usual suspects- music (any genre, but lean more towards 80s music), movies (can watch almost anyting, with special mention going to action and s-f, or a combination of both if possible). When I feel inspired I grab a pencil and draw what ever comes to my mind that day. Lastly being the man-pig that I am I'm interested in women- you can't go wrong with a good looking lady;).
As expected this is a long post, but there you have it- Rtoo in a nutshell. Hope to have many interesting discussions with you people:).
